Even if you do not believe in yourself, believe in the Jesus in your heart. No one who has Jesus there could ever be ugly even if they tried.

But do not believe the lies of any who would tell you that you are ugly.

Aw, Lizz, you are gorgeous! People who have nasty things to say like that have their own mental malfunctions, which is why they lash out. It doesn't mean that there is a darn thing wrong with you.

Lizzi for years I believed I was very ugly, because of people very close to tell me that. You cannot go on what people tell you because most often they don’t speak the truth. Fact is, you are beautiful.

but how can you convince yourself of that.... because when i look in the mirror, i do not see what you are telling me is there.... i have struggled with it for years and althogh i tell myself that i am beautiful because God created me, i still do not see it...

I know it’s hard to convince yourself, but find just one little thing beautiful to yourself and start working from there. From this avatar photo I can see that you have very beautiful eyebrows, you know what I will pay for yours? I desire brows like that for years; I bet your eye lashes are also thick and strong, not as flimsy as mine. You are not only beautiful but gorgeous (stunning) as well

i still don't want to change my avatar (i love my legolas one too much ) but i have enough courage to actually post pics in the member gallery... that's a start for me

I would rather have a half-good looking woman who is an awesome person as my wife, than some really hot chick who I can't stand to spend time with. Don't fall for the first guy to tell you that you are pretty either. First know that you are pretty, and a wonderous creation, and all else will fall into place after that. Promise yourself to no longer accept the lies you have been handed !


I have photos in my member's gallery. I keep a pic of my jeep as my avatar because I want to advertise my offroad club. Nobody on this board understands offroading (no replies on my thread about the club). It's a jeep thing, you wouldn't understand

Lizzi you are beautiful and your smile is stunning, it feels now if I know you. Don’t take it off again, I felt the first time very stupid to put my photo there but now I am use to it. It’s kind of getting over a poor self image
