Jeremiah verse by verse

Jer 5:8 They were as fed horses in the morning: every one neighed after his neighbour's wife.

Jer 5:11 For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the LORD.

Jer 5:15 Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.

Jer 5:16:Their quiver is as an open sepulchre they are all mighty men.

Jeremiah 5:17 NIV

They will devour your harvests and food, devour your sons and daughters; they will devour your flocks and herds, devour your vines and fig trees. With the sword they will destroy the fortified cities in which you trust.

Jeremiah 5:19

"And it will be when you say, 'why does the Lord our God do these things to us?' then you shall answer them, 'Just as you have forsaken Me and served foreign gods in your land, so you shall serve aliens in a land that is not yours'

Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,

Jer. 5:22

Do you not fear Me? declares the Lord. Do you not tremble in My Presence? For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea, an eternal decree, so it cannot cross over. though the waves toss, yet they cannot prevail; though they roar, yet they cannot cross over it.

Jer 5:23 But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone.

Jeremiah 5:25 NIV

Your wrongdoings have kept these away; your sins have deprived you of good.

Jeremiah 5:26

For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.
