I would personally put NMH in my top 5 bands of ALL TIME.
That they didn't get famous was great! That people don't listen to them is a tragedy.

In the Aeroplane Over the Sea is one of my personal favorite albums. I especially love the songs Holland, 1945; Ghost; and Naomi, though the last one is from the almost as excellent On Avery Island.

I also have their EP "Everything Is". Which is interesting, to say the least. Aunt Eggma Blowtorch is certainly one of the stranger songs I've heard.

Has anyone read the book about In the Aeroplane Over the Sea that was recently (recently as in last November, I believe) written by Kim Cooper for the 33 1/3 series of books? That might be worth checking out.
