Here is an outline of what I think will happen.

When Jesus comes in the clouds where we are to meet Him.

Ø The dead in Christ receive their glorified bodies.

Ø Those of us who are alive and remain, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye are changed. That change is; our bodies are instantly changed to a glorified body.

Ø We remain on the earth for 40 days and it is in that time that we do the works and greater works, we are without spot or wrinkle, we are a glorious church.

Ø The last revival is on BIG TIME!

Ø At the end of the 40 days we rise to meet Him in the air.

Ø The age of grace comes to an end.

Ø The tribulation starts within a few days.
:)

I here this a lot and it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I think that this thinking that believers are going to have to go through a lot and even be killed for their faith is very American, European, etc type thinking, because in many many countries Christains are suffering and dying for their faith as we speak. The "free" nations are about the only ones where christians aren't suffering for their faith.

Yes, there are still Christians suffering and being killed for their faith.

But they will not go through the tribulation because that is the time of God's wrath poured on the earth for rejecting His Son. Christians are not appointed to wrath. We'll be out, removed from the earth before all hell breaks lose.

I agree and what you see there is coming here, I am sure of that

Where do you get the 40 days of staying on earth from?

When Jesus was resurrected He stayed on the earth for 40 days before He was "taken up" and "a cloud received Him".

Since Jesus is our example and we are to follow Him I believe from what He did, we will do.

It is also a way the the hard scriptures about coming into unity, greater works, without spot or wrinkle, being a glorious church could happen.

I also realize God could do it a different way. But, this is the way I see it happening. :)

You can prove all 3 points in scripture (pre-mid-post) about the rapture, depends on your view. But, I am with Z, I am not appointed to wrath, I am a child of the King.

I think there are three points because there will be 3 catching aways. there are different groups of people that the bible talks about and all are dealt with differently. there are Jews, the Gentiles, the church, the 144,000...who ever said there was only one rapture? there has already been three...why not three more?

Holly

Oh and BTW, even though the word "rapture" isn't in the Bible, it IS in the Bible code.

Cool! You wouldn't happen to know whether it says pre-, mid- or -post-trib do you? *L

ha! wished i did. although my pastor did some deep study on the bible code and it too talked about more than one rapture. Like the train is departing every couple years!!!! I always think it funny we try so hard to figure things out. The disciples couldn't quite figure out the whole thing about the cross and dying 1st. they were a little suprised when calvary happened. all I know is that Jesus took my punishment for me. The wrath of God was satisfied. I am not appointed unto that wrath!

BTW, no one should be concerned the word rapture is not in the Bible.

The word God is not in the Bible. The Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek. No English words are in the Bible. It is all a matter of the choice and wisdom of a translator.

You may think that's "all I know" but that actually says a lot. Many Christians still see an angry old cov God who punishes. Many Christians will fight for the right to tribulate.

The Bible Code.

Well if there isn't a waste of time and effort if ever there was one.

Cheers,

Ok, I know you don't believe in the Bible Codes but no need to be sarcastic.

There isn't just Bible Codes but hidden messages in names, Bible numerics and even the Aleph Tav signature of Jesus positioned at significant parts of the scriptures.

And all these just show a computer savvy generation how divinely engineered the Bible is.
