Good day to all of you in Jesus!

God is good, and He's still at work making all things work out for the good of those who love Him.
2 weeks from now my wife Chris and I (my name is Aaron) move into our first house, a house that was a much desired answer of our prayers in many ways.
1- We'll no longer be sharing a place with a relative who won't seek the Lord and (as a result) was dragging us down.
2- We'll no longer have to worry about stairs. Chris is handicapped and had to climb stairs to get to our bedroom. Her knees are in bad shape so to be free of stairs will be a major blessing.
3- We'll be able to let Christ reign in our house by freely praying aloud, playing praise and worship music, inviting brothers and sisters in Jesus over for fellowship, and, if the door opens, host a Bible study or cell group in our home.:groupray:

Some of these things many believer can do and have perhaps taken for granted. I rejoice that now we can, and our new house can be a place of peace where the King of Kings is Lord, glorified and praised

God bless, everyone!

Amen to that. Thank God for these answered prayers. May you and your wife enjoy this new home and use it to grow in His name and to feel free to do so without restriction. Praise the Lord your wife will be able to move freely and relax in your home. :)

Oh my goodness...I never learn...I should come to DF first thing. But alas I've run out of time!

What fun you all had discussing teddy bears. I've a few stuffed animals myself, but they all seem to be dogs. :D

butterfoot and Patti, praying for you both in your job pursuits.

Spudgrandma, it's good to see you, I'm glad you got your work finished and I hope you get a well deserved and refreshing rest.

Savedsis, I've missed your posts here, I hope you are doing well.

Jessi, glad to see you here again.

Aaron, it's nice to meet you, welcome here. That is just awesome about your new home. I wish you all the best.

Yes Lord, I am agreeing in prayer with this.

God is indeed good and aaronibus62, I know that you and your wife will be so happy when you can freely and openly express your love for Him in your own home. Welcome to DF and God Bless!

Savedsis, Thank you for your prayers. I hope you have a blessed day.

Do you think that the Lord my just want me to work for Him and not to worry about a job? Also, I hear in my spirit that the devil is hindering me when I wonder why I don't have a job. I am doing volunteer work in the meantime.

God Bless all.

Hey all,

I have missed you lot. Been wandering around in other places, but this place is the best to be.

Please pray for me, preaching on Sunday and my as yet unsaved mother and father have decided to come to church for the first time in about 12 years.

Cheers,

Zzub! How wonderful! God's best blessings on your message. Let it be His message and praying the deaf ears be opened and the hearts prepared to receive the Gospel of Peace and Love.

Lord, right now in the name of Jesus of Nazereth I ask Lord that you bless your servant with a fervant spirit filled message that will touch the hearts of his parents and all those who attend and that the doors be opened to have his parents saved. May the Holy Spirit fall in a mighty way and may there be deliverances, healings, people beinmg set free, and may any spirits that might operate against this move be bound in Jesus name and made ineffective and may all who attend be blessed by your presence. Amen

Bless those of you who come here, for I'm blessed by reading these posts, and am so thankful to know such a loving group of fellowshippers! God presence here is so awesome!

Belated but nonetheless sincere birthday blessings to Shadowcat; and JS, thanks for the link to cygnusx1 thread, it will take me a while to get through the whole thing, but I loved it! What beautiful pictures!

Patti, you're in my prayers and I know that God has special plans for you, so bask in His love, finding shelter when you need it under His wings, and learn to enjoy total abandonment to Him as you go through this trial time, growing in hope and patience, and counting each day and obstacal for joy and glory. This is how He grows us up in Him, and we never ever get too old to grow in His limitless love.

Patti, I love that you ask whether God has other plans for you, for that has come upon my heart for a while as I read your posts, and I remember chuckling one day thinking, wow, wonder what great and wonderful thing He has in store for her? Thank you for all you contribute here, you are so uplifting to me, and I'm sure to the others as well. I pray that God frees you from all doubt and worry about the job, for those doubts and worries come not from Him, but from the adversary, and through His love and power (and the common sense you display lovingly here ALL the time) I know you will use this circumstance to grow in faith! In Jesus' name I rebuke the adversary, may you be free from his nagging and persistence, and overcome by growing in the grace and glory of God! May you speak life and victory over your situation, for the volunteer work you do for the Lord is as much of a job as anything with a paycheck. I know that He will meet your every need, even though we don't always have a clue how. Much love to you.

Hi spudgrandma, the power really is optional isn't is, when we're filled with power from on high!

aaron, thanks so much for your uplifting testimony! May God bless your house, and every inch of it, and keep your family safely in possession to His glory!

Butterfoot (curious about your name?) be blessed in your job pursuits. Greenthumb, always so nice to see you here, may God give you special blessings this day, as He opens all our eyes to the glory around us!

Zzub, thanks for sharing your exciting news! You're in my prayers that God guide your every word and thought as you let Him speak through you Sunday, and that He display the humility of Christ through you, touching hearts of those who hear, empowering them to take the Word further. Praise His name for the work He is doing in your parents, and may God bless you with the patience to continue in your endurance to the end, for the results are His business and we can bet He's tending to it! I join in agreement with bill, and thank God for the work He is doing in you, and thank you for sharing it with us! Can't wait for your good report!

Thanks Z for sharing your sermon notes, and what a wonderful message you've chosen, one very dear to my heart! May all who hear your sermon or contemplate your notes be moved to deepen their commitment to God through our relationship as children of God.

And thanks JPPT for your constant presence, here and on any other place to which I wander occasionally, your dogged determination of expressing your joy and your faith is ALWAYS uplifting to me. I join in your plea

Praying for you my friends
Take all of your cares to the
Almighty God
Let Him worry about those for you!

for this is such good advice from your heart.

Your sister in the love of Christ,

Hi DF friends. Nice to see you all celebrating Rebecca's Birthday. I didn't notice too much at 30 and then 40, but 50 was a big turning point in my life. I would just love 29 once more. Stay with the Lord, Dear Rebecca! I hope you have many years celebrating Him and His mercies.

I could never think of leaving our Lord - his love for me is endless. He accepts me with all my faults and is always with me even when I have stumbled. He is the most awesome friend anyone could have. I love him so much.

Please pray for me. I still do not have a job yet. I may have an interview to work at a homeless shelter as a front desk coordinator. That would suit me fine, but I am hoping they call me today. Thanks friends.

Patti

Patti, I'm praying for you. May this interview lead to the job for you.

Heavenly Father, I bring before you Patti. May she have an interview at the homeless shelter and may it be the job for her. I pray the staff who are hiring realise what a lovely, caring person Patti is and gladly welcome her aboard at the shelter. Through your most holy name Amen.

Love,
Rebecca
