There are a number of things we, as Christians, ought to be doing now. If you read the Bible and watch the news you KNOW the return of Jesus for His bride is imminent. Literally only a heart beat away.
One thing is we ought to be attending church every time the doors are open, and there are many, many reasons for this, but one very good reason is because we are told to do so in God's Word.
In the NKJV Hebrews 10:25 says: "not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching?" But sometimes for whatever reason we are not able to attend Church. I understand that there are often legitimate reasons.
But even so, the operative word here is assemble. We do not have to be in Church to assemble. We can assemble in many ways and in many places. This is one such place and one such way we can assemble with other believers, who are our brothers and sisters in Christ and therefore family.
But we should seek a local body of like minded born again Christians to band with. That is where we draw our strength from.
The Scripture says as we see the day approaching. What day? Yes, the Day we will see our Lord Jesus coming in great glory. That day will be here in the blink of an eye. I pray we will all be ready! We will go meet Jesus in the air. PRAISE GOD!
