So for those who think they can be acceptable of God by keeping the Commands of God … “The Law” (some call it being Torah observant) I offer this list of the 613 Commands of God in the Torah. There is nothing you will ever read that will prove your need of Jesus (Messiah Yeshua) more than this list.

It just amazes me that often people talk about keeping the Law ... but don't even have a list of them. I should give someone credit for compiling this list, but I don't know who typed it, but whoever you are, thanks.

This quote is a keeper.

Do you have anyone else who supports you in your contention that Jesus failed in keeping the whole of the Law ... and thus sinned ... or are you just "winging it" all alone here ...?

I am not altogether sure ... but isn't is blasphamy to accuse God of sin?

Jesus paid our debt for use due to our sins. Jesus couldn't have done that if He had sinned. He would have been able to pay only for His own.

No.

Jesus was from the region of Nazareth ... He was not a "Nazerite" (sp?).

He was fond of wine it seems. His first miracle was to make water into wine as a matter of fact ...

John the Baptist was Nazarite (or it is surmised that he was ... it isn't stated one way or another in Scripture).

He did say until his return he would not take of the grape ... but that doesn't make him a Nazarite.

A high Priset? No.

Wolf....you think that Jesus didnt fulfil the whole law but just some of it??? LOL LOL

You are truly losing all credibility here, fella. I would suggest a tad more study before you tackle us seasoned vets again. Its becoming sad to see you embarrass yourself by your poor grasp of all things biblical.

I can understand your urge to do a bit of a "snoopy dance" ...

... but you know we should really should be greatly sobered ... that if it were not for the Grace of God and HIS program of Sanctification over MY life ... I would not know or be in a position to understand ...

I would be blind if God did not open my eyes to see.

It isn't by MY ability that I am either "Justified" ... OR "Sanctified" ... but by God's Grace in me.

I have no room for glory except in the Lord Jesus Christ ...

Gal 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

The "win" which someone stated that they wanted in a "debate" is a very sad cause indeed.

If someone were to attempt (by keeping the Law or "being good") their own righteousness ... they must do a 100% job of it ... or they are lost. As Grace is no more Grace ...

Rom 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

So what we are dealing with is not a "win" ... but the souls of men. Quite sobering really.

Maybe later I will post on the exact "terms of Salvation". The terms and conditions which God places upon us for Salvation in this era ... this "dispensation".

They apparently are very difficult as I see so few who seem to understand them ...

The thing one needs to ask is: to whom was this referring? Its NOT we the Body of Christ, but the Nation Israel being spoken of here.

This aint rocket science, folks. PLEASE distinguish between the two programs as God does.

Thank God for his grace. Thanks be to Him that we the body of Christ are NOT under the law, BUT UNDER GRACE. We are not under the condemnation of the law...we are not under ANY condemnation. We stand in HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.... that's MOTIVATION to serve!!!
Thankful for what HE DID FOR US!!
We don't take that as license to sin. Grace is the great motivating factor for the believer...not the condemnation of the law but the amazing fact that He saved us by his grace and NOW because we are HIS WORKMANSHIP we can be HIS WORKMAN.

Now under grace we have liberty TO SERVE.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Galatians 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Galatians 5:7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

Galatians 5:11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, YE HAVE BEEN CALLED UNTO LIBERTY; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, BUT BY LOVE SERVE ONE ANOTHER.

LIBERTY TO SERVE...NOT..LICENSE TO SIN (no one is claiming that!!)

Galatians 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Galatians 5:15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
