Here are the idols that are worshipped in more Christian churches than any statue.

Statues are downright safe compared to these. Everyone is well aware that worshipping a statue is wrong but it seems that more and more people are bowing to these(in a bad way) every day.
A Mercedes Maybach and a yet to be identified running back for the Oakland Raiders?

it doesnt matter what they make them for, God said not to make any images in any form.

and yet God commanded there to be images of angels on the veil in teh tabernacle and angels on the Ark of the Covenant, and there were statutes of bulls outside the Temple. how very interesting...

God absolutely forbids the making of images, except for the times that He commands it.

Wealth. Gross displays of weath and power. Professional athletes. All of these are worshipped far more often than a statue of the Mother of God.
Well, at a minimum, they get far better advertising by the media.

Then you need to read the Bible, for God commanded images to be made.

Thats why if you go to a synagogue or A christian church you wont see any.

Well, there are images in the Europa Synagogue, and in every Orthodox Christian Church, so your assertion is clearly false.

(Exodus 25:16) And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.

(Exodus 25:17) And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.

(Exodus 25:18) And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.

(Exodus 25:19) And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.

(Exodus 25:20) And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.

(Exodus 25:21) And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.

(Exodus 25:22) And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

(Exodus 25:23) Thou shalt also make a table of [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]tim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

(Exodus 25:24) And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.

(Exodus 25:25) And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.

(Exodus 25:26) And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.

(Exodus 25:27) Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.

(Exodus 25:28) And thou shalt make the staves of [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]tim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.

(Exodus 25:29) And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.

(Exodus 25:30) And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.

(Exodus 25:31) And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.

(Exodus 25:32) And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:

(Exodus 25:33) Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.

(Exodus 25:34) And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.

(Exodus 25:35) And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.

(Exodus 25:36) Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.

(Exodus 25:37) And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.

(Exodus 25:38) And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.

(Exodus 25:39) Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.

(Exodus 25:40) And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.

Then what?
(Exodus 26:1) Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.

And what else?
(Exodus 26:31) And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made:

(Exodus 26:32) And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]tim wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver.

(Exodus 26:33) And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy.

(Exodus 26:34) And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
Put all of this WHERE?!?!??!!?!
in the most holy place.

I agree:thumbsup: . Your the first person to say that. Thankyou very much. Well done.

In a friendly way, could you present any evidence that God has sanctioned the images in the RCC church?

I would be obliged.

God Bless

God didn't seem to have a problem with this, in fact He liked it so much He came and dwelt within :) :

1 Kings 7:20 And again other chapiters in the top of the pillars above, according to the measure of the pillar over against the network: and of pomegranates there were two hundred in rows round about the other chapiter.

21 And he set up the two pillars in the porch of the temple: and when he had set up the pillar on the right hand, he called the name thereof Jachin: in like manner he set up the second pillar, and called the name thereof Booz. 22 And upon the tops of the pillars he made lily work: so the work of the pillars was finished. 23 He made also a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round all about; the height of it was five cubits, and a line of thirty cubits compassed it round about. 24 And a graven work under the brim of it compassed it, for ten cubits going about the sea: there were two rows cast of chamfered sculptures. 25 And it stood upon twelve oxen, of which three looked towards the north, and three towards the west, and three towards the south, and three towards the east, and the sea was above upon them, and their hinder parts were all hid within.

26 And the laver was a handbreadth thick: and the brim thereof was like the brim of a cup, or the leaf of a crisped lily: it contained two thousand bates. 27 And he made ten bases of brass, every base was four cubits in length, and four cubits in breadth, and three cubits high. 28 And the work itself of the bases, was intergraven: and there were gravings between the joinings. 29 And between the little crowns and the ledges were lions, and oxen, and cherubims: and in the joinings likewise above: and under the lions and oxen, as it were bands of brass hanging down. 30 And every base had four wheels, and axletrees of brass: and at the four sides were undersetters under the laver molten, looking one against another.

31 The mouth also of the laver within, was in the top of the chapiter: and that which appeared without, was of one cubit all round, and together it was one cubit and a half: and in the corners of the pillars were divers engravings: and the spaces between the pillars were square, not round. 32 And the four wheels, which were at the four corners of the base, were joined one to another under the base: the height of a wheel was a cubit and a half. 33 And they were such wheels as are used to be made in a chariot: and their axletrees, and spokes, and strakes, and naves, were all east.

34 And the four undersetters that were at every corner of each base, were of the base itself cast and joined together. 35 And in the top of the base there was a round compass of half a cubit, so wrought that the laver might be set thereon, having its gravings, and divers sculptures of itself.

36 He engraved also in those plates, which were of brass. and in the corners, cherubims, and lions, and palm trees, in likeness of a man standing, so that they seemed not to be engraven, but added round about. 37 After this manner he made ten bases, of one casting and measure, and the like graving. 38 He made also ten lavers of brass: one laver contained four bases, and was of four cubits: and upon every base, in all ten, he put as many lavers. 39 And he set the ten bases, five on the right side of the temple, and five on the left: and the sea he put on the right side of the temple over against the east southward. 40 And Hiram made caldrons, and shovels, and basins, and finished all the work of king Solomon in the temple of the Lord.

41 The two pillars and the two cords of the chapiters, upon the chapiters of the pillars: and the two networks, to cover the two cords, that were upon the top of the pillars. 42 And four hundred pomegranates for the two networks: two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the cords of the chapiters, which were upon the tops of the pillars. 43 And the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases. 44 And one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea. 45 And the caldrons, and the shovels, and the basins. All the vessels that Hiram made for king Solomon for the house of the Lord, were of fine brass.

The only idol I've personally seen worshipped is the one seen in the mirror.

That idol gets worshipped a lot.
Done it myself.
Forgive me, Lord.

Make no mistake, the idols in churches ar bad.

But you are now getting very close to the truth.

I said before, we do not have to have idols in church to worship idols.

One previous post hit the nail on the head when it was suggested that "car" and the "sports star" are the real idols that we face whether we are RC or Protestant.
