I feel blessed today, because as I was cleaning my kitchen counters, I looked out the window and saw a doe out in the yard. Now it's not unusual for a doe to be out in the yard. In fact I see deer in my yard almost everyday, I even thank God for allowing me to see one of his many beautiful creations so often. Funny because most people just curse them, and get upset because they eat all their flowers. Yeah they eat flowers from my yard also, but I don't mind it at all :)

What made today different, Is the doe had two adorable little fawns with her! I know I see them every year, but each time it seems to be such a blessing to be able to watch them. I watched today and saw the doe watching over her fawns while out in the open, She was so alert, and paying attention to all that was happening around them, so she would be able to alert them of any danger. Much in the same way God watches over us, and his spirit warns us of dangers in our path. :D No matter what direction the doe would go, the fawns would follower her. It somehow delights my heart and soul to see this. They look so cute bouncing across the yard. So dependent and trusting in their Mother, allowing her to guide their every step. Much in the same way we should follow God, and allow him to guide our every step, and how he truely delights in us when we do.

Amen! I had a similar blessing once. As I was cleaning the stove, I looked out and saw a huge doe in my yard. No babies!

Later as I stood at the same stove preparing fresh strips from the backstrap, I was reminded how God supplies all our needs.

It is truly amazing how God can send your daily food walking right up to your front door. Talk about Fresh! Talk about delicious! What a blessing!

lol Gerry! Some day they might end up being my only choice for a meal, like when we're no longer able to buy or sell goods without a mark. I better be extra thankful it's not thousands of quail wandering around out there.

Oh Yeah! Amen! Quail are wonderful, but you can only eat so many before they make you sick and run out of your nose. Yeew!

I love Austrailia. That is from what I have read and seen on TV. Always wanted to go there and may in fact do that sometime next year or the year after.

I never thought about it, but I guess there are deer in Austrailia too! Only thing I don't like that I have heard is about that spider that is instantly deadly. Don't even have time to knock it off. RATS! What a rip!

Hey fieldmouse, why so sad today? Does it have to do with that lousy grass hat you are wearing? Probably has bugs in it! Or maybe that lousy rope belt is burning your hide?

Maybe you need some new clothes to make you feel better. I don't have many blessings but I will give you what I have, and maybe some others will throw in a few and you can get better dressed!

Usually shopping for new clothes and chocolates make a girl feel better!
