Living in Leicester, but originally from Swansea (via Coventry).

To be honest, I probably won't because I don't really fancy living in Ormskirk or any of its neighbours. I find Ormskirk quite dull, the nightlife is poor, there isn't that much to do and looking at the local paper not much seems to happen in the community.

Southport - is a nice place to visit in the daytime, but I've heard it can get rough in the town centre at nights (the clubs are notorious for violence)

Burscough - Not bad, but probably a bit dull and seems to be stuck in a timewarp.

Skem - not been there but has a terrible reputation

Liverpool - some areas better than others, but don't fancy living in a city

Wigan - probably the best of a bad bunch, but its hardly the stuff dreams are made of

Preston - not been to it much, so have no opinion

The first 17 years of my life were spent in North Wales (Rhyl)

The next 12 years were spent in Stafford

and the last 27 years in Rochdale

when im not at loughborough i live with my parents at holmes chapel thats very close to sandbach

There's not many people from our part of the world on here. There was a girl from Crewe whose name was ''shout2thelord'' and someone from Congleton called "AnutyLou". That's about it.

There's a family at our church who used to live in Holmes Chapel but now live in Middlewich. Do you go to church in Holmes Chapel?

Christianity and theology in general is confusing because its such a complex topic. I've been a Christian for quite a while and have studied a fair bit of the Bible but still things confuse me a bit. I think it's beyond our human brains to understand it completely.

thats true! When I try to explain my beliefs its very difficult not to sound like I am contradicting myself.

I'm a fundamentalist but also a liberal.

I believe in the church but not in an institution.

I believe in obediance but not legalism.

I'm a Bible-believer, but not a Bible-basher.

I take much of the Bible literally, but also metaphorically.

I am a feminist with a belief in male headship.

I'm a traditionalist who embraces modern culture.

I am a man of many near contradictions, but thats Christianity for you!

Have you been along to the Christian Union? I know some great people at Loughborough Uni who are very helpful when you're confused.
