Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane
Matthew 26:43-46
Verse 43: And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.
Verse 44: And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.
Verse 45: Then cometh he unto his disciples, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Verse 46: Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me.
“How many times have the LORD told us to pray or to wake us up from a sleep and to pray, but we say we’re too sleepy. If you’re not sleepy, start reading the Bible and you will. This is the only scripture where we find Jesus repeating the same prayer. This was because of the conflict between God and Satan over the life of Christ. The devil tried to kill Christ before he could get to the cross. If Satan could have succeeded in killing Christ from infancy to before the cross he could have defeated God’s plan of redemption. Christ had to get to the cross where He spoiled satanic powers and triumphed over them. The time had come for his betrayal and He told them to sleep on. Don’t wait too late to pray, my friends.”

Today's Food For Thought:bow:

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)

A young boy knocked at the studio door of an Italian artist who had died. When it was opened, he explained, "Please, madam, will you give me the master's brush?"

The boy, who had a passionate longing to be an artist, wished for the great master's touch. The woman placed the brush in the boy's hand and invited him to try.

He made a supreme effort but soon found that he could paint no better with that brush than with his own. The woman then said, "Remember, you cannot paint like the great master unless you have His spirit."

So too, people who have never been "born again" are doomed to disappointment and failure when they attempt to live in a way that pleases God. Without the indwelling Holy Spirit, they cannot do it.

Perhaps you have experienced the new birth and you have Christ's Spirit living within you, yet you feel so powerless. The reason may be that though you have all of His Spirit, His Spirit does not have all of you. All your ambitions and desires must be submitted completely to Him.

The greatness of the power and effectiveness of your service for Christ is in exact proportion to the measure of your surrender to Christ.

I hope you all have a wonderful day..

The reality of Jesus' crucifixion is so vivid in my mind. I think about Jesus' suffering and death. I praise Him for defeating sin and death. I weep for the pain of rejection and betrayal and His physical pain. I rejoice because the angel of the Lord rolled the stone away.

Let us continue to roll away the stones that try to cover the doors to our hearts. The enemy would like to block our hearts so that the reality of Jesus's victory stays locked inside us instead of being shared with others. I want to tell more people why we celebrate Easter and what it really means.

Jesus is alive  Celebrating His ressurection

Amen. So much has been on my mind and heart as Easter approaches. The betrayal of Jesus came alive in my heart this year more than ever before. The sinless and perfect life that Jesus lived, as a human, contains so much that it is impossible for me to comprehend it all. He lived blamelessly, allowing Himself to be slaughtered even when His closest friends denied Him. Jesus knew what it felt like to suffer alone. He went to the cross with love in His heart. I will never know the agony He endured. I love HIm. I love Him.

Has anyone heard that song Trail of Tears by the Crabb Family?

I heard about the lonely day
When jesus had to die
It must have broke his mother's heart
O the tears she must have cried
And though she knew the plan divine
He was still her precious son
It only seemed like yesterday
In a stable he was born

Chorus:
There must have been a trail of tears
From the cross to the place
Where they laid him down to rest
In a cold and lonely grave
And as the storm rolled to the door
To seal the prince of life within
It must have felt just like the end
There must have been a trail of tears

Mary knew the day would come
She'd have to say goodbye
The son was on a mission for
Which he would give his life
The angels knew redemption being
Carried out to man
He was dying there on calvary
The sacrificial lamb

Hallelujah, thank You, Jesus:clap: Lord, thank You for every person whom You used to fulfill the redemption plan. All glory and honor belongs to you. Praise Your holy name!
