News Shock: "God and the Heavenly Court EXONERATE ALL Humanity"!

ex·on·er·ate (¹g-z¼n“…-r³t”) tr.v. ex·on·er·at·ed, ex·on·er·at·ing, ex·on·er·ates. 1. To free from blame. 2. To free from a responsibility, obligation, or task. --ex·on”er·a“tion n. --ex·on“er·a”tive adj.

________________________________________________________________

KJV Isaiah 40:1 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. 2 Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.
________________________________________________________________

Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? IS THE LAW SIN? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin [was] dead. 9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. 10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. 11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

John 9:2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. 4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Genesis 4:5 (NAB, NEB) The Lord received Abel and his gift with favour; but Cain and his gift he did not receive.  Cain was very angry and his face fell.  Then the Lord said to Cain, "Why are you so angry and cast down? If you do well you are accepted; if not SIN IS A DEMON CROUCHING AT THE DOOR.  It shall be eager for you; and you shall be mastered by it.

Matthew 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

Luke 8:26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee. 27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. 28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. 29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.) 30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him. 31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep. 32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. 33 Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.34 When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country. 35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

Men have never understood correctly WHAT "SIN" IS.  They have always had an imperfect understanding. Bible translators changed God's words to Cain at the urging of their devils in most versions of the Bible so that the real truth would remain skewed.  Devils wanted to keep their presence on and in the human body a secret!  But the New English Bible and the New American Bible have the Judge's words to Cain translated CORRECTLY.  Now we understand why "human beings who are ALL BORN OF GOD cannot commit sin because of the nature of THEIR HOLY SEED" as stated in 1 John.  The Word-Authority, the Supreme Judge, said "SIN IS A DEMON"!  There is no need to argue over this or to dispute it.  No man's ideas or opinion can discredit or nullify the Words of the Judge of all creation!  Father is the END of all doubt and contention, the ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY!  We can now understand Paul's words in Romans 7 correctly.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. ... 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Devils are in man's flesh controlling "sin activity" despite a man's desire to do otherwise.  Jesus tells us plainly that devils will get more help from other demons to keep man under their control.  All whom they find free will be under attack from a bigger gang of demons until that person is subdued.  Jesus also showed that God gave him power to free men from demonic captivity.  When he cast devils (SINS) from the man with the legion of demons, only then was he found "clothed and in his right mind".  Those who commit sin are spiritually naked with an unsound demonic crown controlling their thoughts.  Look at the world today.  All men who are committing "sin" are manipulated by the very devils in and on their bodies to do unsavory things.  Only when Father casts the devils out of and off His creation will men ever be completely free of sin (demons).  We will be "clothed with righteousness" and "in our right minds" when Father turns human captivity!  This happens at PASS OVER and CIRCUMCISION when Father strips away the "body of this death" as Paul called it and removes His son or daughter spirit to the broad expanse of Heaven itself.

Ecclesiastes 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

Ecclesiastes 4:2 Wherefore I praised the dead which are already dead more than the living which are yet alive. 3 Yea, better is he than both they, which hath not yet been, who hath not seen the evil work that is done under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Hosea 13:14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

Luke 20:37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. 38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. 39 Then certain of the scribes answering said, Master, thou hast well said.

Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Matthew 15: 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Isaiah 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, NOR SPEAKING THINE OWN WORDS: 14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Proverbs 3: 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and LEAN NOT UNTO THINE OWN UNDERSTANDING. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Psalm 31:19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

Isaiah 28: 9 WHOM SHALL HE TEACH knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For PRECEPT MUST BE UPON PRECEPT, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Psalm 119:104 THROUGH THY PRECEPTS I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. 99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. 100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts. 101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word. 102 I have not departed from thy judgments: for THOU HAST TAUGHT ME.

Hello, Blessed One!

Do not Forget the power of "Dad", the Father Himself!  What happens when you factor these texts into your equation:

Isaiah 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Isaiah 28:15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. 17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. 18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

KJV Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Ezekiel 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. 31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.32 Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord God, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

Isaiah 43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

Isaiah 48:11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

NOW….. Is this a thing He is declaring that is not yet done, but He will surely do for His name's sake? ……….

Revelation 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, [be] unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

IF THIS IS TRUE ….. it is apparent that your Father is a God of His Word, and you can trust Him to DO WHAT HE SAID!  Amen?!  Amen!!

When we see everything that has breath saying in the final analysis in Heaven, "Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever, we see that all will accept Jesus and confess him. ... even though it is "not yet done"!

I think you are correct in saying that ALL sin was paid for on the cross. But that does not equate salvation for all. For ALL sin could (and I emphasize could) be forgiven if ALL believed. But not all do, so not every sin will be fogiven. let's say someone wanted to give you a car for free. Just like the car would be paid for, and it could be yours, if you never accept it, you don't have it. And every knee will bow because everyone will know that Christ is Lord after they die. But the determination must be made while on earth to follow or reject Christ. One day....one glorious day....:)

um, i agree with Mandy, don't take words out of context!

goodnews, look at the following verses:

John 6:38-40
For i have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that i shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and i will raise him up at the last day.

Eek, all I can say is when you all pass on to the next world you may be surprised at who else is there with you !

In my opinion Jesus came to show us the way to God All this leads up (well for me anyway) to what message he really wanted to impart and that was that Salvation was open to everyone, whether you believed in him or not all you had to do was to believe/ have faith that you were going to find 'heaven'. And what he meant by I am the way, truth and the life no-one can come to the Father but by me.. really meant that at that time no-one else was preaching the salvation for everyone philosophy (probably wrong word to use but take the gist instead) so in effect what he said was true no-one could go to the Father directly as no-one had been shown that they could, Jesus handed us the key and it was down to us whether we used it or not hence one of the parables about the servents and the talents who used theirs and who buried theirs. He basically said right I've told you lot the Father in heaven is accessable to all, i've told you and i've shown you now its up to you if you accept my teaching or not. if you know what I mean!

But having said this I definately believe that instead of waiting for Jesus to return because as far as I am concerned his message is already in us so all we have to do is awaken it and then heaven can be had here on earth now, (Why waste time wanting and waiting for him to return when he already is here living inside each and everyone of us already, perhaps this is whats meant by the taking of the block of wood from your own eye before taking the speck from another))we should actually start living the life here on earth that so many believe he paid for.

I mean the Jews thought they were the chosen ones and Jesus comes along and says hey up gentiles you ALL can attain God's kingdom you ALL can be saved from all this hell that is around us, you don't just have to be Jewish and in any case shortly I will go to the cross to pay for your mistakes (sin) and so you will be forgiven, so listen to my message I have come to show you the way, I have come to give you ALL the keys of Heaven, well at least your heart as all you need to know about me and my Father is in there stored up for you, waiting for you to unlock it and set you free.

So why do we seem to spend more time deciding who is saved or not, it is a personal choice. What makes you so sure you have interpreted those passages in the bible correctly is it because you pastor tells you its so and thats that? Or because to believe that there is any other way to interpret it would put your whole belief system in a quandry! Or because you want to get to heaven so badly that nothing else really matters.

One thing we know there is a God and he is a loving God and he loves us all, he loves us so much that he sent down his son to help us, to show us the way to make heaven here on earth, to have eternal life, to know what love truly is, to show us that we all can become truly in his image to show us that inside each and everyone of us the Holy spirit has been left as a tiny glowing ember ready and waiting for the day that we open our hearts and take a look inside and while we look inside we clean away the clutter we put it on the embers and watch as the tiny sparks jump into life and all that is left is the pure uncluttered heart of someone finally freeing themselves of the chains that weigh us down, and in doing so claim the kingdom of heaven and see God in all his glory pouring out of us and healing everyone in his wake!

Now this is my take on things, I will stop for now as this post has gone on far too long but just one point this is my own opinion and not shall we say to be read as gospel take what you will discuss what you wish and discard what you want but most importantly find peace in your hearts as the Day of the Lord's coming is in your hands or should I say hearts!

God bless

Only if you believed in Jesus and accepted Him as your saviour will your sins be all washed away.

Hi Blessed-one,

I think there's a little more to it than that.  Someone posted this huge list of verses about how it's possible to lose one's salvation, on another forum.  So I thought I'd share it here.  Whether you agree with it or not is a different story :p

Jesus' Teaching on Losing Salvation

Matt. 7:18 - sound trees bear good fruit. But there is no guarantee that a sound tree will stay sound. It could go rotten.

Matt. 7:21 - all those who say "Lord, Lord" on the last day will not be saved. They are judged by their evil deeds.

Matt. 12:30-32 - not with Him is against him, therefore (dia toutos = through this) failure to ally with Jesus and His grace to one's death is the unforgivable sin against the Spirit.

Matt. 22:14 - many are called but few are chosen. This man (destined to grace) was at God's banquet, but was cast out.

Luke 8:13 - some receive the word with joy, but they have no root, believe for a while, and then fall away in temptation.

Luke 12:42-46 - we can start out as a faithful and wise steward, then fall away and be assigned to a place with the unfaithful.

Luke 15:11-32 - we can be genuine sons of the Father, then leave home and die, then return and be described as "alive again."

John 6:70-71 - Jesus chose or elected twelve, yet one of them, Judas, fell. Not all those predestined to grace persevere to the end.

John 15:1-10 - we can be in Jesus (a branch on the vine), and then if we don't bear fruit, are cut off, wither up and die.

John 17:12 - we can be given to Jesus by the Father (predestined to grace) and yet not stay with Jesus, like Judas.

John 6:37 - those who continue to come to Jesus He won't cast out. But it's a continuous, ongoing action. We can leave Jesus.

John 6:39 - Jesus will not lose those the Father gives Him, but we can fall away, like Judas. God allows us not to persevere.

John 6:40 - everyone who sees the Son and believes = "continues" to believe and persevere will be raised up.

John 6:44 - no one can come unless the Father draws him = continuing to draw him. It is an ongoing process.

John 10:27-28 - "no one shall snatch them out of my hands" does not mean we can't leave His hands. We can walk away.

Rev. 3:4 - in Sardis, many people received the white garment and soiled it with sin.

Rev. 3:5 - Jesus says whoever conquers will not be blotted out of the book of life (see Exodus 32:33). We can be blotted out.

Rev. 3:11 - Jesus says to hold fast to what we have, so that no one may seize our crown. We can have the crown and lose it.

Rev. 13:10; 14:12 - we are called from heaven for the endurance and faith of the saints, keeping the commandments and faith.
Rev. 21: 7 -we must conquer in order to share in our heritage and become a true son of Jesus.

Rev. 22:19 - we can have a share in the tree of life in God's holy city and yet have that share taken away from you.

Apostolic Teaching On Losing Salvation by our Own Choice

Acts 7:51 - you stiff-necked people, you always resist the Holy Spirit. We, by our own freewill, can resist God and His grace.

Rom. 11:20-22 - we can be in the tree of God's grace by faith in the Messiah, then quit believing and persevering and be cut off.

1 Cor. 9:22,27 - even Saint Paul recognized that he could lose his salvation by choosing wrong. Not every runner receives a prize

1 Cor. 9:27 - Paul being "disqualified" = adokimos = cut off from Christ. It is not about receiving less rewards in heaven. Proof:

Rom. 1:28; Titus 1:16; 2 Tim. 3:8; Heb. 6:8; 2 Cor. 13:5-7 - adokimos always refers to those reprobates to be condemned by God.

1 Cor. 4:4 - Paul says he is not aware of anything against himself, but he is still not acquitted. Only the Lord is our Judge.

1 Cor. 6:9-11 - we can be washed, sanctified, justified, yet Paul still warns us that we can be deceived and become unrighteous.

1 Cor. 10:12 - anyone who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. You can be standing in God's grace, and then fall away.

1 Cor. 15:1-2 - we can be believers (predestined to grace) but believe in vain. It's not "once saved, always saved."

2 Cor. 6:1 - we can receive the grace of God (predestined to grace) in vain. We can choose not to cooperate with His grace.

2 Cor. 11:2-3 - I betrothed you to Christ, but I am afraid that your thoughts will be led astray from a devotion to Christ.

Gal. 5:4 - Paul teaches that we can be in Christ, then be severed from Him and fall away from God's grace.

Phil. 2:12 - we cannot assume salvation. We need to work it out to the end with fear and trembling.

Phil. 3:11-12 - again, Saint Paul acknowledges need to endure to the end and has no presumption of salvation.

Col. 1:21-23 - we have now been reconciled in His body to be presented holy and blameless, provided we are steadfast.

Col. 2:18-19 - a man puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind has lost the connection with Jesus. He had the connection and lost it.

1 Tim. 1:5-6 - some people have wandered away from a sincere faith, a pure heart and a good conscience. They had these things and lost them.

1 Tim. 1:19-20 - Paul tells Timothy to hold fast to the faith, and not shipwreck it like Alexander and Hymenaeus. They had it, and then they lost it.

1 Tim. 4:1 - the Spirit "expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith." They had the faith, then lost it.

1 Tim. 5:8 - if we do not provide for our relatives, we have disowned the faith (we had the faith, and we lost it).

1 Tim. 6:10 - for the love of riches we may wander from the faith (we had the faith, and we can lose the faith).

2 Tim. 4:8 - it is only at end of St. Paul's life that he has a moral certitude of salvation. But it's not certainty.

Heb. 2:1 - we must pay closer attention to what we have heard, lest we drift away from it. We had it, but we can drift away.

Heb. 3:12 - take care, lest there be in any one of you an evil heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.

Heb. 4:1 - while the promise of entering his rest remains, let us fear lest any of you be judged to have failed to reach it.

Heb. 4:6 - we can receive the good news (predestined to grace) and then disobey it and fall away. Our freewill is God's gift.

Heb. 6:4-6 - those who have been enlightened (predestined to grace) can fall away, commit apostasy and crucify the Son of God.

Heb. 10:23-29 - we can sin deliberately after receiving knowledge of the truth (predestined to grace) and then face a fury of fire.

Heb. 10:26 - if we continue to sin after knowing truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sin - our salvation is jeopardized.

Heb. 10:35 - we can have confidence in salvation (predestined to grace), and then throw it away. We can have it, and lose it.

James 5:19-20 - we can be in the truth, and then wander from the truth which means death, unless we are brought back.

2 Peter 2:1 - we can be bought by Christ, and then become false teachers of destructive heresies and destroy ourselves.

2 Peter 1:10 - we are all called to God, but we must "work" hard to keep our calling. By grace we participate in our salvation.

2 Peter 2:20-22 - we can escape the defilements of the world through Jesus (destined to grace) and then become entangled again therein.

2 Peter 3:16-17 - we can be the beloved of God and then lose our stability and carried away with the error of lawless men.

1 John 1:7 - if we walk in the light, the blood of Jesus cleanses us. But we need continual cleansing, and can walk out of light.

1 John 1:9 - if we confess our sins, Jesus will forgive them and cleanse us. But we need continual cleansing. It is ongoing.

1 John 2:19 - they left, but didn't not belong to us refers to those who were false Christians not predestined to glory.

1 John 2:28 - we must abide in Him so we have confidence and don't shrink in shame. If we fail to abide, we are lost.

2 John 8 - look to yourselves, that you may not lose what you have worked for. You can lose the grace you currently have.

Ezek. 3:20; 18:24 - the righteous can turn away from their righteousness, and their prior good deeds will be forgotten.

God bless!
