Hello from Trench777 in CO

Hello, from CO!

I found this forum from a Google search, after getting fed up with "watered down" Christians on some other forums I was posting on. I'm not prideful & saying I'm better than them, or that they deserve anything other than my prayers, but I'm looking for a new place where hopefully I can find some "on fire" brothers and sisters to lift UP the name of Jesus Christ, for all the things He's done for us.

Hmmm...that doesnt really sound right (what I wrote above), but its close enough, I suppose.

Well, I look forward to checking out your site here & I hope I can find a place to fit in.

As a matter of fact, it does.

Trench= the nickname I've had since I was a teenager & it's stuck with me, along this long strange road I've taken to get where I am today (not gonna go into my testimony right now, but suffice it to say its been a twisty road)

777= the number accepted by many occultists as being the number of God (666, well known as the number of the beast, of course). Since discarding occultism & darkness, for light & Truth, I adopted 777 as a part of my tag.

I serve my God with love and loyalty, so I try to honor Him by wearing His brand as a part of my name.

And there ya have it...the "history" behind my name

Believe it or not...I'm not really looking for debate, per se. I'm looking for people who I don't have to cajole and persuade into putting down the evil things of the world for thier own good and getting frustrated and discouraged when they absolutely cling to the same things that led to my downfall. Not talking about un-believers, but believers. Its amazing how many brothers and sisters in Christ don't realise the "wolves" are lurking, waiting to eat up the sheep naive enough to stray from the light.

Did I "grow weary in my well-doing"? I can't honestly say "no"...but I can tell you it was beginning to cause ME to become tempted to backslide.

Oh...what I mean in the post above, basically, is that I'm looking for a place where I can get a little edification, a little encouragement (not directly, like slaps on the back & "atta boy"s but, where I can come & see that at least SOME of my brothers & sisters are walking in the light).

Not sure if that makes sense, but its as close as I can get.
