"There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers ." Proverbs 6:16-19

HER'ETIC, n.

1. A person under any religion, but particularly the christian, who holds and teaches opinions repugnant to the established faith, or that which is made the standard of orthodoxy. In strictness, among christians, a person who holds and avows religious opinions contrary to the doctrines of Scripture, the only rule of faith and practice.

2. Any one who maintains erroneous opinions.

The above definition is from Webster's 1828 Dictionary

Strong's exhaustive concordance of the Bible lists a couple of related verses:

"For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you." 1 Corinthians 11:19

"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies , envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another , envying one another." Galatians 5:19-26

"But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is a heretic after the first and second admonition reject ; knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself." Titus 3:10

Now, not only do we know what a heretic is, we also know how to deal with them. I would suggest reading each passage in its context so that the full and correct meaning may be gleaned.

Excellent -now that you understand that I wonder if it applies here -seeing that most here are preteristic -and according to others floating around we're not even christian -hence no access to the "christians only" section. So maybe it doesn't apply over here -you might want to take it over to the "Eschatology section."
