Oh, could I feel your wing
Around my shoulder one more time!
But no- you're just a fading memory
My angel.

I'm still convinced you were God-sent
Most innocent
-In my sight-
Despite all my cussing about you

Do brothers have to die
To become angels
-People who are allowed to leave
Once they've saved you-?

May you learn to fly higher every day
Always know where to turn
When you fall
-My door's still open-

But goodbye for now
As visits from above
Are still extraordinary
I won't be waiting expectantly.


I guess it's kinda hard to understand, the 2nd stanza talks about forgiveness....
