However, your character looks like a female, so perhaps you are a female. If you are(that is, a female) do you have a picture?

If I remember correctly, Jet Black is a man but has a female avatar for the same reason I do..

It could also be possible that he/she/it is genderless and in fact simply multiplies by dividing.

When I was playing Everquest I used exclusively female avatars because I liked the way they looked better than the male ones.

That said, some questions are best left to PMs...
