No, I know what your thinking, but my friend has this crazy idea that it makes him do better in school. so, if you could tell me if its right or not, I would greatly appreciate it.

Point here is to keep a sober mind being watchful. Has the Lord not warned us what would happen if He returned and found us not doing His will? If you're friend is a Christian, encourage him to be mindful of what scripture says about those things.

1. It's illegal
2. He is relying on it to help him in school. When you rely on a drug (for anything) it can become a habit/addiction very easily.
3. I think his excuse for doing it is lousy.

And please, dont judge other people. Believe it or not, from what you wrote, it sounds as though your almost judging another person. Who is anybody to judge another person? Anyways, I'm very knowledgeable in the bible yet, and I've only begun to start to read it. So, you have your answer.
