God reveals that He is very powerful and knowlegdable. Humans have taken this and extrapolated that God is all powerful and all knowing. Some Christians have even gone so far as to say that God must be omnipotent and omniscient. This has gotten Christianity into a lot of trouble. I really could not even begin to understand where people get these lunatic ideas.
You take from the words of God what you want, you discard all else as man's depiction of events that they could not begin to understand, but you can? Why? Because science that would not even exist without God's creation says so?
