roses, zinnias, pansies, marigolds, allysum, Dutch iris, gladiolas, camellias, tulips, hyacinths... I could go on, but those are my top favorites, so far...
Orchids (especially of the phalaenopsis variety), irises, and I love the smell of a lilac.
I also like dogwood flowers. There is a legend about the tree which is perhaps rubbish, but the flowers themselves have often been used as representations of Christ's physical sufferings for us. It also reminds me of home and my younger days as we had some growing in the yard and I loved sitting in the shade of the dogwood.
