Not one Christian heir or hair will be harmed during the tribulation of Antichrist, who is simply

Satan disguised as Jesus. :priest:

Matthew 12:31 "Wherefore I say unto you, all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men."
____________________

Jesus is telling us that all manner of sin is forgivable, except the sin committed by an elect of God when he refuses to allow the Holy Spirit of God to speak through him when he is delivered up, in the time of the end.

This sin is spoken of in Mark 13:11; "But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought before hand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye, for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.".
____________________

This is the witness of the Church of Smyrna in
Rev. 2:8-11:
____________________

Rev. 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall
have tribulation--->ten days: be thou faithful
unto--->death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
____________________

If you are destined and called to be delivered up, take it seriously but "Don't sweat it".

"Be thou faithful unto death" simply means "hang in there baby", i.e. in the face of antichrist (whose name is death).

Just do as Daniel and his friends did and simply do not partake of the king of Babylon's tainted meat and leavened garbage (the tribulation), but rather eat and digest God's Word prayerfully and after 10 days your countenance will shine with the truth as the Holy Spirit descends upon you like a fiery cloven tongue and gives you utterance, just as He has promised.
____________________

Daniel 1:12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee,--->ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

Daniel 1:15 And at the end of--->ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.

Jeremiah 42:7 And it came to pass after-->ten days, that the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah.
____________________

You see, on that Pentecost day in Acts chapter 2 (Pente-cost means count 50) when the Holy Spirit descended and Peter quoted from Joel the prophet, it was 10 days after Jesus Christ had ascended into heaven to become our advocate at the right hand of the Father.

Jesus ascended on the 40th day and it was now the 50th, a difference of 10 days before the Comforter would come.

____________________

When the Holy Spirit of God wishes to use you, Jesus is warning you against not allowing Him to use your mouth, for He will do the thinking, and do the premeditating for you.

This denying of the Holy Spirit then, is the unforgivable sin that only God's elect can commit.

And as I've said on this board before, Christ has shortened the days, (Matt 24:22 & Mark 13:20) for the sake of the elect.

So I don't believe this sin is even going to happen.

Have a great day
Peace & God bless

Interesting point of view; but is this what is meant by commiting blasphemy?
I have read that when the disciples (and Jesus himself) were filled with the holy spirit, people thought they were demon-possesed and mad, because of how strong it came over them. So, if someone is submissive unto God, and the holy spirit speaks <through> them, how would they be able to resist?
It seems that Jesus is calming our fear of the holy spirit, by telling us not to worry about what to say, during the tribulation. Because he will be with us. And in the book of John, he speaks lovingly of the comforter (which is the holy spirit) by encouraging us to call on him for guidance.
What you said about the ten days is interesting, I had not noticed that before.

Hello Honeycomb,
I get something else from this. Somehow I get the feeling that this verse is referring to the time when they will be dishing out the mark of the beast. And everyone that refuses at first will be put in jail or confined for 10 days so they might reconsider. This is the first half of the tribulation. I believe this is talking about the saints that refuse the mark. They will be able to give their testimony before they give up their lives. Read the next couple of verses.

Mark 13: 12-13 - "Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved." Then verse 14 you have the abomination of desolation, which marks the mid point in the tribulation. God will be waiting for the very last one of the saints to be martyred to avenge their blood, and then He will pour out His wrath on the rest of the unbelieving world. Those that flee for the mountains will be running to God's protection, and they will be some of the ones to repopulate the earth in the millenium.

HONEYCOMBE : Preterism is herecy ? If a persons prophetic beliefs differ from ones own does that make them a heretic ? And who claims the power to call another a heretic ? They tried this on during the inquisition . Millions of people were murdered at the hands of those who claimed to have the power to call another a heretic . Anyway , I'm not a preterist and I don't speak lies .

...Not one Christian heir or hair will be harmed during the tribulation of Antichrist...
Note that some of us Christians will be persecuted and killed in the tribulation, both before and during the Antichrist's rule:

"Some of you shall they cause to be put to death... But there shall not an hair of your head perish" (Luke 21:16, 18).

"And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled" (Revelation 6:11).

"And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints" (Revelation 13:7-10).

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit" (Revelation 14:12-13).

"And I saw...them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God" (Revelation 15:2).

"I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years" (Revelation 20:4).

This is a general heads-up, for preterists who continue posting in the Eschatology forum. Erwin has made it clear in this thread, that preterist views shall not be posted in the Eschatology forum.

If any preterists have any questions, please contact Erwin, Josephus or any of the staff. :)

Thank you,
John

Hey HONEYCOMB . What is it that upsets everybody about that word starting with P . I'm asking this question as I'm not exactly sure of what it is . I'm thinking it's to do with future prophecies they claim happened in the past or something like that . Me, I'm waiting for the end of the world called the end time and the return of our lord Jesus Christ . I hope that doesn't make me one of them . Please feel free to comment on this if you wish . thanks .
