Assemblies of God is a pentecostal denomination.

Why is prostestant up there? That's not a denomination. That's a sector of denominations. AOG, Church of Christ, Uniting, Methodist are all prostestant. At least that's what I thought. Gosh, I hope I haven't been describing myself wrong all these years.

I guess I'm "other". I'm curerntly everything as I'm looking for a church. I'm completely lost. None of the denominations I know anything of really fit.

I grew up in AOG, but don't want to go back there. I've been to a Uniting church a couple of times and while they're lovely I'm not sure it's what I'm looking for. I went to the baptist down the road once. Nice show, but I think it'd get boring on a weekly basis. I'm trying a large COC next Sunday. Cross your fingers for me folks.

I'm would say I am from a CoC, AoG background, although not all the churches I attended where directly affiliated with those two, but similar. I was also in the Apostolic Church. Lately I have considered joining the Catholic church. :)

uh.. that's comforting..

i go to a chinese evangelical church. So the denomination is 'evangelical'... :)
Oh there are heaps of chinese evangelical churches...and most of them teach really bad and dodgy :)()

I think the Chinese Alliance Church is good....but from the other Chinese churches I've been to, it's been quite questionable.

Maybe it's based on the language or culture...

I go to an "evangelical" Anglican church. It's not a traditional Anglican with prayer book services, but we are very much behind the Archbishop's plan for Sydney.
Our church is also evangelical anglican. We are in the canberra/goulburn area.
