Are you pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation or post-tribulation? This refers to when you think the Rapture will happen or when Jesus is going to come back.

I believe that the Rapture will come before the Tribulation. This means that Christians will be taken up to heaven before the tribulation. However, all is not lost - those left behind can also turn back to God, and be saved.

This debate has been going on for as long as I can remember. I still haven't settled it in my mind. This may sound crazy but I have prayed that if it is pre or mid I'd like to stay. That is I'd like to serve God through this thing but I would like my family to go. I figure I'll get to heaven soon enough I might as well do what I can for as long as I can even if it means my head.

there are many verses that support each of these three stands.I think its just the matter on what you believe the most and what is God telling you.

Personally for me its post-trib.(God I hope not)

Hello everyone>>>I just found this site and I'm looking forward to some good fellowship. I chose to respond to this topic first for I feel I must urge you to accept reality. The "rapture" will take place at the LAST Trump. The "son of destruction" shall be revealed first. I am afraid that a pre-trib rapture is a deception of the enemy to make us unprepared. But please!!! FEAR NOT! It's time to build up your faith and know that the Lord will never forsake us. What an adventure we have ahead of us! Don't you want to see the miraculous salvation of the Lord manifested in your life? I do. And yes, I think "I'm ready" for that.
Peace to You

I don't think it really matters. I think God is going to take his people when he wants to. I have no idea when or how he'll do it, no one does, so it's not even a matter that can be debated. Just be ready.

He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever. Romans 21:4

I believe pre-trib is the only way to fly. We were warned to watch and wait, because He would come when we thought not. He gave signs for the last days, and of the tribulation, but he never gave a clue as to when He was coming for his Bride. Only His Father knows, and He will send His Son like a thief in the night...rollinTHUNDER

Rememer Enoch? Genesis 5:24 He walked with got and when he was 365 yrs. old; God "took" him. He was translated like Elijah was. He wrote a book; many in fact: that is not a part of the current bible. Anyway, I read it recently and here are the first few verses>>>The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. And he took up his parable and said, Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which His angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them. >>> The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling, And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) Mt. Sinai, (and appear from His camp) And appear in His strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.
This is a start, but folks; we will live (I hope) through the great tribulation.

I need to add something else: The Good News; Enoch 1:7&8 >>> And the earth shall be wholly rent asunder, And all that is upon the earth shall perish, And there shall be a judgement upon all men. But with the righteous He will make peace. And will protect the elect, And mercy shall be upon them. And they shall all belong to God, and they shall be prospered, And they shall be blessed. And He will help them all, And light shall appear unto them, And He shall make peace with them.
I don't know about you but, I am excited about the day we are living in. Let us do what He says and enter into His rest. The Kingdom will be established on this present earth for 1000 years; then the judgement books are open; then the "new" heaven and earth.
Any questions?
PS>Forgive my typo above; first line God (not got)

Hello Truthseeker,
Just wanna point you to the fact that God removed Noah from judgment. He then sent His destroying Angels to Sodom and Gamorrah, but they had to wait until Lot and his family were removed before they were permitted to destroy the cities. What do you make of Rev.3:10 ? And one final thought - "Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape ALL that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man." (Luke 21:36)...........rollinTHUNDER

Good Morning!
Rev 3:10 ref: He will keep in perfect peace those whose mind is stayed on Him. I think the visitation of the Lord will be like a consuming fire. Destroying the ungodly and comsuming His people with His Spirit (as at Pentecost). That's right! Who shall be able to stand! Also, a thousand will fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come nigh thee. Salvation is to be saved from the time of trouble and wrath. For we are not appointed to wrath; but we'll be here.
I'm only trying to get across that we need to be ready; standing with our armour on; especially that helmet of salvation. Think about this: Won't it turn many to righteousness if their eyes see the salvation of the Lord on His people. I am trusting Him to get me through it no matter what happens. More and more it seems to go against His word, that we get an early ticket out. We have an Ark with which to ride the flood that comes out of the dragon's mouth: The Covenant.
Peace

I think a look at history may help. What about the 1st century Christians.....made a lot of Lions fat. Read Fox's Book of Martyrs (did I spell that right?).

Look at the Apostles especialy Paul. I think God could save us from the Tribulation or not. We don't deserve the easy way out but God's mercy may make it happen. No I think we are to keep studying and find the answer in the Bible be it what we hope for or not.

Just my 2 cents anyway.

Harsh reality >>> I do feel many righteous souls will die in this but they will probably be the ones riding in the Lord's army. The martyers under the throne ask "How long Lord 'till you avenge our blood?" Answer > until the others join you and all be fulfilled. Jesus wanted us to not love our lives unto death. I guess the big question is: Would we have enough faith to know that if we die we are in His hands; and if we must live through the trouble that He is able to provide and save?

I wonder why the Martyrs are crying out for vengence? They seems so human....

I always thought that they would be softly praying for their persecuters' repentance...

Good point Yauming. I think that justice is what they are wanting the word avenge maybe not quite what we usually think
Rev 6:10
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
(KJV)

1556 ekdikeo (ek-dik-eh'-o);

from 1558; to vindicate, retaliate, punish:

KJV-- a (re-) venge.

They are curios and maybe a little impatient it seems, to see justice done. If impatients is a sin then I would look at this as pure curiosity.
