Jeremiah 5

Jeremiah 5:1

Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.

Jeremiah 5:10

Go up through her vine rows and destroy,
But do not execute a complete destruction;
Strip away her branches,
For they are not the LORD'S.

Jeremiah 5:13

The prophets are as wind,
And the word is not in them.
Thus it will be done to them!

Jer 5:15 I am going to bring upon you a nation from far away, O house of Israel, says the Lord. It is an enduring nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you do not know, nor can you understand what they say.

Jeremiah 5:16

Their quiver is like an open grave,
All of them are mighty men.

Jer 5:17 They shall eat up your harvest and your food; they shall eat up your sons and your daughters; they shall eat up your flocks and your herds; they shall eat up your vines and your fig trees; they shall destroy with the sword your fortified cities in which you trust.

Jeremiah 5:18
"Yet even in those days," declares the LORD, "I will not destroy you completely.
