How soon before Jesus comes back?

Next year? Who knows?

The main thing is that we live a good Christian life - being humble, helping other people, praying to God etc.. (for a detailed discussion of what this means - goto the general forum)

For the people killed in the Sept 11 attack and the people who have died in the current war in Afganistan, Jesus has "already returned". They are now facing Jesus now. All of us will be in that same place of mercy or judgement. So rather than worrying about when Jesus will return I'd rather be more concerned about the current situation at hand- living a life pleasing to God.

In reply to your question how soon before Jesus returns I believe that this could be
very soon but the gospel first must be preached to all nations and then he will
return

The question are we in the last days
The answer must be a positive yes.
For the signs of times are all around us
just see the state of the world as it is now
all these things were prophesied by Jesus himself but these are only the birth pains what next well Iask you to tell me what will happen then because if you know the answer the best thing to do is to share it
Please write me with your views

You are correct, Gerald. 10 years ago, there were 2000 unreached people groups. Today, there are only 200. Missionary outreach has been growing exponentially, and soon the gospel will reach the ends of the world, and be brought to every tribe, every tongue, every people. Then Jesus will return.

Rom 14:11 For it is written, [As] I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Phl 2:11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

I couldn't find the "General Forum"... Is there a thread already going on about this? Or were you just asking people to start a new thread for this topic?

I believe Jesus will come when everyone least exspects it, it says even the Angles or son of will not know the hour only the father who sent his will no the hour.

IITh 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethern, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The Apostles believed we were living in the last days.
Heb 1:2
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom ......
(KJV)
I have heard that the ceremony held after the sept. 11 tragedy went all over the world. Billy Gramm dilivered the Gospel and every nation heard it. That is not to say everyperson did but every nation did. I hope this is true cause I'm anxious like the rest of you folks.
