yeh and it's still illegal atm coz im 15 for another few weeks I know it'll all work out but i just don't want them to say no.. or worse than no is for them to not take us seriously and say we're young and stupid

see its the other way round for me - my dad will be fine with it.. but my mum *shudder*.. they both know him really well..

you're not getting MARRIED at 15 so technically being engaged is perfectly legal. He's still a minor as well, so it's really not that big of a deal (at least it wouldn't be in Canada. I don't know how your laws are over there, I'm assuming they're rather similar though.)

No it's not illegal to be engaged - just to get married under 18 without parental consent. (But it can be done) not that i've thought about it *cough cough* ... we've got ages to bring them around. I'm just scared of thier first reaction

lol, no, but my father is a lawyer, and it helps to know your rights so your employers don't screw you around.
