Quick update from New Zealand

Hi
Sorry I have not been keeping more regular contact.
I have just been really busy and extremely tired ( hormones gotta love them ) in the last couple weeks.
My scan appt is this Friday at 11 a.m and once that is done I will be able to relax a little more. This is the nuchal skin fold scan and was the time we found out that Jake had problems.I heard the heartbeat last week and everything is right on track. I would appreciate prayer for peace of mind on the actual day, so far I am fine but on the day I will likely be a little anxious.

We had our local Settlers day Fair on Sunday and I was working all day ( I wasn't even meant to be ON the committee this year yet still got roped in on the actual day) This resulted in a bad case of sunburn for me despite wearing tons of sunblock. The New Zealand sun is BAD the burn time that day was 13 minutes. My arms and chest are BRIGHT red, I look like a blonde lobster so I have been slapping on tons of solacaine and aloe.
So far I am not peeling but it's almost inevitable that I will.Good thing I was wearing a hat all day so at least my face is fine.
I am trying to catch up on housework etc right now and as I am having to walk miles around the house just to do dishes it is a pain you know where
