Pray for my friends in Biloxi

My friend Kathi Jones, and her husband Scott and their kids Alex and Sarah are in Biloxi riding out the storm...please keep them in your prayers as I am in mine.

Update: Thank you for the prayers you have sent so far. They ended up having to climb out and up to the next foor and be rescued, and they lost everything, but they are safe. I have not gotten to talk to my friend yet...she talked to someone else I know who told me. I'm saddened that they lost everything, but so very grateful that they are safe in Baton Rouge now. Please continue to pray for them that they will be able to get resettled without too much difficulty....Thank you.

Update: My friend called me today and has been staying with her in-laws, who have water but no electricity. She think some things from her home are salvagable, but a lot is lost. I have invited her and her family and pets to stay with me until they can find a new place to live, so she will talk to her husband about that when she sees him again. He works with the utility company in Biloxi so he would stay down there mostly, but they have 2 kids and some pets. Please pray that all will work out with that for her and her family.

Another update: I picked them up on Friday and they are staying with me now. We have visited area churches to get all of their basic needs met (food, clothing, hygiene items, school supplies) as well as to get them connected with a local doctor who will see them for free. God Bless all the people who are doing so much to help so many.
