Bershit aya I think it says "Beginnings" So I'm guessing it is, but I haven't learned much yet. so I'm just posting to see if my guess is right

Perhaps a breakdown will be useful for some.

בְּרֵאשִׁית = bereishiyt (In the beginning)

הָיָה הַדָּבָר = haya hadavar (was the word)

וְהַדָּבָר הָיָה אֵת הָאֱלֹהִים = vehadavar haya et ha'elohim (and the word was with God)

וֵאלֹהִים הָיָה הַדָּבָר׃ = ve'lohim haya hadavar (and the word was God)

This is a Hebrew translation from the Aramaic Peshitta:

rbDh aWh hyh ~yhlaw ~yhlah lca hyh rbDh aWhw rbDh hyh tyvarB

Sorry I can't get the vowels to work on the Hebrew translation.
