“Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth” Luke 15:10 KJV

“' I tell you, it is the same in Heaven - there is rejoicing among the angels of God over one sinner whose heart is changed." Luke 15:10 JBP

Can you imagine that? When a sinner is saved, there is JOY in Heaven. When we witness and lead a lost person to Jesus, there is Joy in the presence of God. My oh my! Is that not reason enough to be soul winners? I should think so. If we bring Joy to the Saviour who paid the horrible price for salvation, we ought to do it with a glad an grateful heart.

So there is Joy in Heaven, and also there is JOY in the heart of the person who receives this salvation. Remember the cry of David in Psalms 51:12: “Restore unto me the JOY of thy salvation.”

Do you remember the Joy on the face of the one you last led to Jesus? The one who, as Peter put it, was called and comes “out of darkness into His marvelous light.” I Peter 2:9

Do you remember the JOY that flooded your heart and soul when you were first saved? I do! I “floated” in the air for six months. I was so filled with Joy, I could help but to love everyone and everything. If you remember that, don’t you want to share that with everyone: Especially your friends and loved ones? Don’t you really want everyone to experience that same JOY?

Wherever Salvation is preached there is Joy. The 8th chapter of Acts, tell us that when Phillip preached in Samaria, “there was great JOY in that city.”

So, not only is there JOY in Heaven, and in the heart and soul of the sinner who is saved, but there is great joy in Churches and where ever the Gospel is preached. And there is great joy in whole cities, as in Samaria.

But there is more; there is JOY in the heart of the Christian who leads the lost person to Jesus! Great Joy! “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves.” Psalms 126:6 KJV

Yes the Christian soul winner experiences great Joy here and will experience even greater joy on that day when he receives that soul winners Crown of Rejoicing, at the coming of our Saviour.

I Thessalonians 2:19: “For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?”

Ten days ago, I led a young man to God and he was overwhelmed by joy. Last Sunday he came for praying and this was so awesome because God set him free totally. This young man led two other persons to God in this time after being saved. He visits me Monday night and I gave him a bible and now he is into the word too. I am glad that Angels are rejoicing, and I am going to print your posting and show it to him. I am sure he is going to be blessed. He phones me daily and when he says goodbye he reminds me that we are in Gods hands. This blesses me.
