Google Instant Messenging Service?

I was hoping someone would come out with another IM service...the 5 I have already just aren't enough.

That means it's time for you to move on to gaim or trillian.

Thanks for checking it out. The newest version of Yahoo IM has PC-to-PC calling that works great. I'll stick to that.

I figure if anyone wants to talk to me, they can just use one of the two I've narrowed it down to. Never was happy with trillian....no fun stuff to play with and it was buggy. So unless Google's is beyond brilliant (which it sounds like it isn't) I'm gonna pass.

That's true. Yes, I do have an IM life because I have so few friends IRL.

Is "IRL" a Google product?

I had a real life once...but now I'm back at CF.

I downloaded the GoogleTalk (beta). It's really simple and clean. that's why I like it. None of that stupid junk you get w/ Yahoo or MSN. Just a simple chat tool. I'll stick with it - see what they change.
