We will have bodies, but they will be imperishable bodies.

1 Cor 15:50 I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed-- 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."

To add to SOS's post alittle, has His childern we call God "FATHER" which places us on the level of Jesus. Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying for a moment that we in and of ourselves become equal with Jesus but because of Jesus we share the same level. Take a moment to think of how you see you relationship with God.

Romans 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father.''
-- New King James
Galatians 4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!''

Whats is so wonderful is the fact that not only when you pray you can pray to "Father" but His Spirit is right with you comforting you and helping you. No were in scripture can I find an angel calling God Father. As a matter afact the bible goes another step and tells us this:

-- New King James
1 Corinthians 6:3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?

To me that places us as His childern above the angels. Also at the sametime does any of this matter. We see this at least for now in a very "fleshly carnel" way. We see throughout the scriptures the angels worshipping and serving God and I believe completly satisfied, and here is the importain part, in Him, just as we will be and even now are.

God Bless

Look at this for a minute.
Job 19:26-27
26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold,
(KJV)

How can his body be destroyed but he can still see God in his own flesh??? Hummmm.

Luke 24:38-39
38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
(KJV)

Flesh and bone not flesh and blood. Interesting...

1 Cor 15:38-44
38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
(KJV)

We will have a spiritual body without blood and it will be incorrutable and have "power"
Jesus had the first one and it was physical as well as spiritual with power.

Isaiah 65:17-21 >>> For Behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall no more be heard in her, nor the voice of crying. There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that has not filled his days: for the child shall die 100 years old; but the sinner being a hundread years old shall be accursed. And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. WOW!!! This is to happen on this planet. There is no death in heaven nor sinners. We've got at least another 1000 years here before we dwell forever in heaven. We will have glorified bodies. This is the "rapture". The dead in Christ shall rise first. To live on this earth. The Spirit of Revelation has been poured out. I am in awe as I read about things I thought I knew. So much understanding is there for us if we will look again; with an open heart for the truth.
Peace to All

Greetings All,

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1 Cor 15:35-44 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: 38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

1 Corinthians 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie
