I read it long before it became a movie. The whole time I kept thinking it would make a good film. I thought the whole treatment of a person dealing with a spouse who has Alzheimer's was beautiful. He treats her with such compassion and love. He honors his vows and never leaves her despite the pain that he must feel from knowing that he knows her and remembers their past together and yet he knows she doesn't know who he is much of the time.

Yeah I love A Walk to Remember too. Nicholas is a great writer.

I read the book a couple of weeks before I bought it on DVD and I got v. hooked onto the book. It only took me 3 days to read it, which is really fast for me.

The part of the book which got to me was when Allie remembered Noah's name. but really got to me when she forgot him again. So sad that they had a great time together and she couldn't remember. :(

Great book!

I read a little bit of The Notebook a few weeks ago...Cus it was in the house we rented at the beach, and I liked part of it so much that I wrote it down...It was like a letter that Noah had written to Allie. About how their souls were connected and he had spent all his lives before that one looking for her, not someone like her, but HER.

I love it.
