I would like to hear evidence proving macro-evolution and disproving creation, please. Thanks.

There is a thread that should now be at the top of the forum that contains many of the discussions that have happened here that show the evidence that supports macro-evolution (scientific theories are not 'proven') and shows that a young earth has been falsified (scientific theories CAN be falsified).

You can review the thread here
http://www.christianforums.com/t1161676-the-ce-thread-archive.html

Not sure what you mean by creation. If you mean young earth creationism, then there is plenty there that falsifies it.

I see that you belong to the ChurchOfChrist!

Did they recently declare space bars to be evil or something? RAR!

Actually, it's the United Church of Christ (not to be confused with the Church of Christ). It is something I wish they would correct. The logo is correct but the description is way off.

Interesting. I say a group of us should get together and go... that is assuming attendence is free...

It probably won't be though.
Sure go along . I am sure you will be welcome and maybe learn some truth for a change. As for paying to hear the "other side"-well so what , Christian tax payers have been doing that for centuries

Lol. We still have a strong magnetic field which has no evidence for repolarization, except for preconceived ideas such as the Earth MUST be billions of years old, this proves our theory false, therefore, the evidence must be changed to fit Evolution.

Evos with their long age fantasies!

The "search" function has a use...:)

I think this forum has a cycle, where every question, after a certain period of time, gets repeated and re-debated, and the whole thing is done with little knowledge of the past discussion...:(
Interestingly, I think that cycle is about 1.5 days.

1) The magnetic field has nothing to do with evolution.
2) There is plenty of evidence that supports magnetic field reversals. AIG and ICR accept it, why don't you? Claiming there is no evidence when there are heaps of peer reviewed scientific articles on the subject just makes you look uninformed and as usual, spouting unsupported claims about a subject that you don't seem to understand.

How do you know YOU'RE not the one who's decieved?

Who would I be deceived by?

Anyway, science does not claim absolute certainty about the universe. It only goes by our current data. And right now, data relating to biology points to evolution. Yet it is you, the Creationists, whom have yet to produce any evidence for your explanation.

Does anyone else find it ironic that, on a regular basis, theists will berate science out of one side of their mouth and then gleefully advertise scientists amongst their ranks out of the other?

Parents will be shown how to counter evolutionary arguments that their children might be exposed to in school or on television.

This conference will be led by an assemblage of brilliant men, Scientists who have dedicated their lives to the study of the earth and its history
Who do they think is behind the Theory of Evolution? Hasn’t anyone told them that these brilliant “men” (I find that distinction funny) scientists are the same kind that came up with the ToE in the first place?

Nope. Wrong again.

You've been shown the evidence for "repolarization" on more than one occasion. Your claim is completely vacuous. Retract it.

Yep, noticed that before too. It's like politics. One side's political analysts are idiots because the other side's said so.
