I'm just amused at the "oh it was totally an accident" statements from MTV, CBS, and Timberlake. Hello, she was wearing pasties. I mean, she is a Jackson, and therefore likely to be weird, but who goes around wearing pasties on a daily basis unless, you know, their boobs will be exposed? Accidental, my tuckus.

You may have a point there. My son told me once that if you don't see the nipple, it's not nudity.

One boob for a mere half-second. Meh, I don't see what the big deal is. I guess that's shocking for a U.S. network, though, but compared to Canadian TV it's no contest...

It's things like this that take away from the religious aspects of the Super Bowl.

and it tears off really easily and cleanly too.

I didn't see it, and I'm not sure what to think of this. I don't have a problem with public nudity, but according to the stories I've read, this may have been of the style. This I have a problem with. Anyway, I've never been a fan of halftime shows.

Heh, when the SuperBowl came on, we made sure we were doing anything else than watching it. Not that we think football is bad, we "mostly" just don't care for it.

Speaking off exposed breasts... I was watching "What not to wear" on TLC with my youngest older sister one day and this woman was hoping up and down in a low cut top and her breast popped out. Only half a second, but you could see and they didn't edit it or censor it. No one ever got into an uproar about that. Then again, the woman wasn't exactly a super model.

speaking of boobies on CBS....

I noticed that CSI had a female nipple shot on a corpse in an episode last season. I couldn't believe it. I suppose that you only have to censor it if it is alive.

Was it me or did the production glitz seem to clash with a decent game of football last night? All of the cut away animations, flashy effects and such, it seemed like we were watching a parody of a Superbowl as seen through some bad vision of the future like a Robocop movie or something.

No it wasn't :o I missed the halftime show but you know somebody got links on the net And I saw a close up shot. That was not a covering. It was a ring. Her nipple was NOT covered. The ring went over the nipple like a ring goes on your finger.

Yea I saw a video clip that is on the net and yep that cup came right off. The cups snap onto the rest of the outfit so it was meant to be detached from the rest of the outfit.

The action was shocking and that was the whole point. It got everyone buzzing today about that moment. That's all everyone is talking about on the net

Aside from Kid Rock, and the JJ/JT flashing sequence , I LIKED the half-time show. I think Justin may have intentionally done it, but I don't think Janet did. She skipped town IMMEDIATELY after the half-time show, and didn't even go to the party where she was supposed to make some kind of announcement about an upcoming alblum. I would have been sooooooooooo MAD at Justin if I were her. If you look at the footage, he's obviously pulling at it and while she looks shocked, he doesn't which isn't really a surprise if you think about it, usually if you pull at clothes their going to come off .
