One arguement that we have for the theory of evolution, is that it is the best explaination that we have right now. There are those who claim that even Darwin himself would throw his theory out, if a better theory came along to explain his observations. If this were the case then, does that door not swing both ways. In the Bible you have the best available explaination. Even in 3500 years, no better explaination has come along. If you follows evos arguement then, the Bible should be accepted untill it is proven wrong, or untill a better explaination were to come along that offer better explainations.

Why did I even respond when I know JohnR7 is self admittedly only here to be disagreeable?

The best explanation on why we shouldn't eat pork?

The best explanation why my mother-in-law shouldn't wear rayon?

The best explanation of the migration pattern of bronze age shepherds?

Your scope is a bit ill-defined.

But like I said. Who cares.

The Bible has been determined to be incorrect. Move along...

Perhaps you should spend a little time to read it, and then you would know.
So, you have no answer? This alone tells me the Bible explains nothing. If you can't describe what it explains, how can you expect us to take you seriously?

the bible explains that there is one true god and that there are many many humans on earth that are not capable and are unwilling to accept the truths that it defines.

Men possess greed and lust and many unhealthy habits like smokeing crack and selling drugs and even selling other humans for money.

The bible explains how these evils have affected humans over the last thousands of years and shows us that as far as evil is concerned, nothing has changed from then and now.

As many have already pointed out, a statement is not an explanation. The Bible claims there is one god. It does not explain why this is true and should be taken as truth.

Men possess greed and lust and many unhealthy habits like smokeing crack and selling drugs and even selling other humans for money.
Yes, and what's your point? I don't need the Bible to see these things.

The bible explains how these evils have affected humans over the last thousands of years and shows us that as far as evil is concerned, nothing has changed from then and now.
Again, I don't need the Bible to know these things. Sociologists and psychologists have explained these phenomena quite well without referring to the Bible.

Postulating a supernatural cause for anything we don’t know as a matter of fact is useless and explains nothing. It places ignorance over knowledge. Just because your guess can not be disproved doesn’t mean it has value.

Including the wearing of mixed fabric clothes; curse all of them, who dare mix fabrics. As true today, as it was then.
