Lets see, do you like romance? If you do, I'd go for the mangas Mamalade Boy and Kare Kano. They are both really really good, and are very clean and straght. The manga I believe is anyway. Try thoses. :) What other kinds of anime do you like? Action? Comedy? Romance?

The Gundam series are good choices... You're probably familiar with Gundam Wing, so if you haven't seen that I recommend it. Neon Genesis Evangelion might be a little too deep for you (but I was into it at your age). Uhh what else, well actually, why not tell us what type of stuff your into. That might be helpful for tracking down the right series for you.

If you're into twisting storylines, consipiracies, and utter confusion, try Witch Hunter Robin. I loved the series but I did find it a bit hard to follow at times... and a couple times they would bring up something really interesting... but drop it and never come back to it later. Over all though, it's a really good series so look it up if you're interested.

If you want to try a few different things Viz has released a sampler pack of mangas (including Naruto). That pack has the first volumes of the series found in Shonen Jump. Shonen Jump is like a compolation of different mangas that come out monthly and just happens to include Yu Yu Hakusho. If you like the sample pack then consider a subscription. Oh, and they're right about Naruto. Get into it now because it looks like its going to be huge when it finally hits in full force. I mean Dragonball Z huge.

C'mon, its got Naruto, Shaman King, Rurouni Kenshin, One Piece, and even Yu-Gi-Oh and DBZ which I'm told the kids like these days. Do kids still like DBZ? I'm too old to tell anymore. Anyway, if you want to get a good idea of what's out there you won't find a higher quality product.
