I have a question for the moderators:
When you say this section is for Christians only, are you including the Catholics??? (From what I know, Catholics rather be know as "Catholics" than Christians -- my Catholic friends never address themselves as Christians but Catholics)

If so, how is it Catholics can question Christian posts here but we can't question their doctrines in the Interfaith or Catholic beliefs sections? I find this odd and unfair.

It's like they can question and refute protestant beliefs and practices but we cant do the same. eg I get a warning for just telling a protestant that having to go to confession b4 you can take the communion is a bondage.

Wow, it's like their doctrines and beliefs are untouchable but protestants' beliefs/doctrines are open game for any one to criticise. :(

Well I hope so Andrew since Catholics are Christians.

I think it depends on the phrasing, Andrew. Referring to an essential practice of someone's faith as "bondage" would fall under the heading of impolite.

I make it a point to never criticize another persons faith. I expect the same of others.

Peace and Welcome to the Forum,
Annabel

Hello everyone > Peace to You

I have been studying the Apocrypha and Lost Books; and in scanning the threads; it seems that some of you have knowledge of these writings. I would like to engage in some fruit-producing discussion that will be intended to prove their validity.

Anyone interested?

Sure thing. This is the forum for such discussion.

In regards to Catholics posting in here, they are welcome, but they are to keep in mind this place is for discussing non-essential Christian doctrines (like speaking in tongues, or once saved always saved, women in the church, etc.) and not the place to talk about Catholic beliefs because One Bread exists for that medium.

Thanks Josephus>>>I wanted to make sure I was in the right place ;)

I'll work something up soon and start a thread. I have been doing alot of studying and I am amazed at how many of my questions have been answered. I feel that many will be interested.

Have a fine day!
