Besides I didn't read anything about Evolution being proven as fact..all they said was possibilty of water being found...how does this prove evo?amazing
the logic that some of you display"
How this relates too Evo, is this is a perfect example of the scientific method being used....with all the indirect evidence of water for the past 5 years, by every other standard but science, one could say " Look at the geology of Mars, its obvouse water was involved."
they said use caution..you said it was direct evidence ..proof positive that water was found..where do they say YEP..ITS H20?!
How it relates to Evo....
My point is the scientific method had not allowed science to officaly say water is a fact until direct evidence was found...
The same Method used in all branches of science use the same strict standards.
Your logic amazes me..the scientific method was there and developed prior to evolution..The so called Baconian method gave birth to the scientific method..Evolution claims to use the scientific method but if you read any works by Gould who taught the history of science at Harvard, he professed that this method was adhered by the creationists more so than the evolutionists. The scientific method stands on its own...it is neither the property of creationists or evolutionists..yet you invalidated this method by pronouncing that water had been found on direct evidence..direct evidence is water in your hand...a picture as noted before is speculation..so you have violated this method.
Until real water was found, there were other possible explanations of geological formations. Science was open to the possibility of other causes.
who found real water? this was an interpretation of a picture showing possible geographic activity...my my reusable, i suggest you and Arikay find a scientist associated with NASA saying, "YES we have WATER on mars based on the rover's picture or something that looks like water"..as far as I remember none have been pronounced.
do you understand how these standards are applied to Evo?
