He Destroy's them wonderfully 
The New World Order, brought about by the four hidden dynasties of politics, religion, education and the economy, doesn't quite achieve one-worldism until Satan shows up, heals the deadly wound and gives power to the political beast.

Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy--->wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

How does he destroy the mighty and holy people? Here's a partial quote from verse 25 in the Living Bible:

Dan 8:25 "He will be a master of deception, defeating many by catching them off guard as they bask in false security..."

The false security is believing that he is Jesus when in fact he is the other Jesus, the AntiJesus..
The next verse tells us how the Antichrist destroys many:

[25] And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Craft means deceit or deception, which he shall cause to prosper in his hand.
And many will help him prosper with their hands, which is what having the "mark in their right hand" means... doing the work of Satan the antichrist.
He shall destroy many with PEACE!
The "little horn", the "king of fierce countenance", the "king of Babylon", the "Antichrist" (all the same entity, Satan), enters in peacefully and prosperously. He is not going to go around killing people.
He's going to convince the world he's Jesus Christ.
Remember, the war that we are to prepare for by putting on the gospel armor (Eph 6) is spiritual not physical. No nuclear holocaust or as some "doomsday" preachers predict.
The final events will happen exactly as they are written in Ezekiel 38 and 39. So we are in for good times, peace and prosperity, brought to you by the New World Order under the leadership of the instead-of-Jesus, Satan himself.

The vision was for many days to Daniel, but those days are soon here for us. So get ready! We are in for some exciting events just ahead.
