One of my parents is doing a very bad things and aknowledges that hes doing it and doesnt even admit that its morally wrong. I dont know waht to do.
I tell him not to do it but he refuses to listen jsut tells me "I do what I want" or along those lines.
Its like my father was always an example for me someone who I always thought would do the right thing and now he became really immoral.
I dont know what to do, this is so horrible.
I am a college student and its hard to concentrate oncollege when this is happening.

I'm sorry to hear you're bearing this heavy burden. Know that by confronting him about his actions you've done your part. You can't make him do the right thing, but you've brought it to his attention that he's doing wrong things and tried to set him back on the right path. Pray for him. Nobody's perfect...not even our parents, but God can change peoples' hearts.

Good advice. There's only so much you can do for someone else; eventually they have to choose their own path. Hang in there and keep praying.

I know exactly what you mean. That it is hard to study when things go wrong. But your education is important. If I were in your situation, I would, if possible move out of the house. If your father won't even listen to you, his own child, then something is wrong with him, and I would not want to be around someone like that. Keep praying!

Im the only christian in my house. I watch my whole family do immoral things all the time and it really upsets me. My dad doesnt want to listen cos he feels its all a waste of time. I know its hard but you have to keep your head held high and pray all the time. I usually leave books and things lying around in the hope he'll read something and it may change him. Keep praying!

Pray of course but also I suggest looking into meditation. I know it sounds weird but it works, it is medically proven. Come to understand your mind and pinpoint what it is exactly that is making you react the way you are. It is easier to understand others if you can understand yourself (and calm down at the same time) Yes meditation is as Christian as prayer. Prayer is easier when one trully understand their mind and finds the Holy Spirit within them. I have some information on Christian contemplation if you are interested. Goodluck!!
