I am praying for the stability of Nigeria, and the people as a whole. With so much corruption in that area, it is sometimes overlooked all the good people that do live there and who do live honestly, it is my prayer that God take hold of your nation, honor those who are living right and bring to their knees the ones guilty of crime and corruption. You the honest folks do not deserve the bad rap the corrupt ones bring onto you.

amen, sister.
God has been so good to us, i fear sometimes with that population, where will they go should there be any uprising as we see all over africa? west africa cannot accomodate the influx and it will be tough on all other nations. he has given us relative peace. i pray we get an anoited leader who share the pain and desires of his people.

...and i had given up hope, everybody is leaving nigeria, u included :p, but i do still pray, we need a strong president, a woman perhaps? a Yoruba Woman :D

What you need is a strong president one who will CLEAN house so to speak. Go into office and start booting the dishonest right out of the government buildings, shut down internet cafe's that make money off of and condone this sort of behavior, and offer incentives for HONEST citizens to better their lives and have HONEST business and trade.

I have a dear friend from Nigeria.
He left the country to attend Regent College in Vancouver.
He did receive his Doctorate's Degree in Chrisitian Ministry.
(not sure if that was the actual degree title)

I am going to let him know about this forum.
He has taken some mission trips back home.
I got word from him this week he is planning another trip back home.

I dont think there are so many people leaving Nigeria. Nigeria is experiencing an economic growth in agriculture, telecoms, IT and manufacturing. Some of those migrating might be better of staying, provided they are hard working people. You want a Yoruba woman?:( Whats wrong with any other woman, Ijaw, Bini etc.? I wont be suprised if that your Yoruba woman is married to a Calabar man.:yum:
