I'm just wondering how college is going for everyone so far?

I am feeling a little overwhelmed right now. The spring semester is starting, and I am taking 17 credits. I also have to do at least 40 hours of observation in an urban school. On top of all of that I work full time, overnights. At least I can do my homework at night. I will hopefully be finished with school at the end of Fall Semester 2005. I am going to school to be a teacher, and there is so much stuff to do before I student teach in the fall of 2005, I have to submit applications in the fall, and take tests, and get liability insurance. It seems like a long ways away, but I am suddenly realizing how quickly it will approach. I just wanted to vent? How's school going for the rest of you right now?

Teehee, my first year of college is wrapping up pretty ok... well keeping in mind that the 2nd semester has only started :p I feel pretty good about this semester. The last couple of months have been a huge part in shaping who I'm becoming... and I like it. College has really begun to help me find myself. I'm realizing now more than ever that my strive for perfection of who I will ultimately be, is not in vain.

To be quite honest, I'm ready for it to be over. As long as I'm still in college, I'm still tethered to Colorado Springs and I want out. I don't feel like this is where I'm supposed to be anymore. I should only have one more year assuming I take massive amounts of credits. Once I do graduate though, I'm not sure if I'll head East or West. I guess it depends on several factors, but two main ones. We'll see what happens.

My last semester of college began today...classes don't start for me until tomorrow though. It has been really stressful for me because I'm a huge perfectionist, but I know that God has helped me through. I'm excited about graduating, but it's a little overwhelming, too. Job searching, the end of a major part of my life, etc. Anyways...good luck to all of you this semester and in the future! ;)

graduating too and not one moment sooner (or later!) and not exicted at all, yet excited, kinda of mixed feelings, its like i finally figured out what i was actually supposed to be doing to succeed in college, but a little too late, and now no job, no gradaute school, no prospects of anything, one day at a time, right? yeah sure.

college for me isn't that great. I've just started my 2nd semester (took a gap year before going to college) and i can't wait for it to be finished. I'm from the UK so our university/college system is a bit different to having majors/minors. can't wait to just get this degree and get on with my life!

College isn't going for me. Actually, right now I'm looking into colleges.

I'm getting information sent to me from 3 Christian colleges I'm considering...

Samford University which is here in Alabama so it would be closer to home

Liberty University in Virginia

and Pensacola Christian College in Florida

Actually University is going exceedingly badly for me. The actual studying is fine, but I can`t rid myself of the feeling that I should be doing something more productive with my life than constant studying. With this in mind, I wrote to Castle Esplanade and requested an Application Form for the Police Force. This sounds far more productive than another two years of lectures.

Uni is great so far as studying. Just finished my exams and have three weeks of vacation to read books in to prepare for the next semester.

As far as friends and social life - well I was dissalusioned.

I study Cinema and Theatre - theory. In a way it's a waste, I won't be getting a job when I finish my two years for a French "DEUG". But it isn't total waist because at least I'm developping a critical mind and general knowledge...
And hopefully God can use me anywhere... and wants to use me at my Uni.
