Now there's an interesting take on it, arikay. I'm not familiar with the site (who's Fred?), but I am familiar with hackers being disgruntled members of the board, rather than "enemies".
Usually when the owner and webmaster of a board chooses to clear it, he just does, but that causes a great deal of hard feeling among the members he wants to keep, so I suppose this would be a 'better' solution?
Of course, it's a solution to a problem I don't understand: there are many threads on many boards in which I can be clearly seen to totally kicked to the curb in debate, CF being one of them.
Worse yet, many of my temper tantrums have been saved for posterity, but that what makes message boards much like life, I think. I don't really care for the thought of a sort of internet cotton candy world in which I appear to be more than I am, gratifying as it would be if I could actually refrain from giving all and sundry a regular view of my nether regions.
