You didnt show an "evo" hacked his site, you said that someone hacked his site.

There is no reason why scientists would supress any evidence, and if you would be so kind as to present this information that apparently was so dangerous this "evo" needed to hack the site to supress, we can all see.

Are you sure thats wise? Surely the evos will then hack this site in order to destroy any trace of this damning evidence!!!!

Well maybe thats the thing. maybe there really is evidence for Creationism, but those darned evos keep managing to keep it from everyone. Darn them. Darn them all.

Fred is Fred Williams the owner of the site, http://evolutionfairytale.com/ and its board, the one that was "hacked."

I don't know if Fred really did it, or if the hacking was just good timing, but it seemed very odd that around the same time all the evolutionists got banned (sometimes for politely showing an admin they were wrong) all the evidence that Fred or his friends got trounced disapeared, yet the "troll" list was saved.
There is also some evidence of Fred possibly playing Good admin, bad admin by using a sock puppet to make it appear as if it wasn't him that was banning people but another admin. It doesn't matter to me since he made it clear he supported the admins actions no matter what they did (even if it was breaking the rules).

I am still not entirely convinced that Fred isn't a very smart parody, but I don't hold out hope for it.

Usually when the owner and webmaster of a board chooses to clear it, he just does, but that causes a great deal of hard feeling among the members he wants to keep, so I suppose this would be a 'better' solution?
Of course, it's a solution to a problem I don't understand: there are many threads on many boards in which I can be clearly seen to totally kicked to the curb in debate, CF being one of them.
Worse yet, many of my temper tantrums have been saved for posterity, but that what makes message boards much like life, I think. I don't really care for the thought of a sort of internet cotton candy world in which I appear to be more than I am, gratifying as it would be if I could actually refrain from giving all and sundry a regular view of my nether regions.

And DGE just made a stunning comeback when this thread was bumped, leading me to hypothesize that he's been hanging out under and alter-ID in the interim.

if there are evolutionist hackers, they as much represent us as abortion clinic bombers represent christians... creationist claims are easy enough to refute, and don't need to be silenced any more than people who think poseiden makes the waves

A: provide the claims evolutionists 'have not been able to refute', as well as the counterarguments evolutionists have brought up against them (if any) and the reason why these counterarguments are incorrect.
B: provide evidence that evolutionists hack creationist sites

I did NOT read this whole thread....ADMITTING this..

BUT athiests can say what they want, because even science cannot define God.

So it is moot point on what athiests believe. AND I make a distinction between evolutionists and athiests...NOT all evolutionists are athiests...and not all atheists are evolutionists.

And not all Christians are Creationists without a degree of discerning some evolution in the mix.

AND not all Creationists ignore the evolution possibilites...

In short the original post was not clear...however; I do not know whom would hack a Creationists site, but IF it has been done, it would stand to reason, it was NOT a creationist.

You have done nothing of the sort. You have provided one example of a creationist site that was supposedly hacked by someone and you assumed it was an "evo" that could not "refute" what was stated there.

Where is your evidence that it is common place for "evos" to hack sites and commit other dirty tactics?

Personally, I think we're waitig for a ship that's never going to dock.
One of DGE's links lead me to a thread of the opposite nature. It laid out unethical moderation tactics practiced by a couple of creationists, and the individual told a clear, convincing story, marshalling facts to support it which could probably still be checked.
However, such behavior is occasionally evidenced by members of any group, shouldn't be used to smear the ethics of all creationists, and the writer of this account didn't.

I have given a specific example of unfair treatment of a specific board member on Fred's forum in this thread (IIRC). I was the one being treated unfairly, and you are the one who didn't respond to that.

What isthe point? What ever I say you will just clll it "meaningless driviel". The botom line is that Fred would not ban you without a good reason. He is a very busy person so he doesn't have time ot give an explaination to everyone that decides to come and disrupt his forums. I think what he has done is quite impressive for the little time he has.

The fact is he did not suspend me for a good reason. The fact is that I looked through his list of banned forum members, and only one or two of those were rude or impolite. Most were very knowledgable indeed, and put Fred in a tight spot once or twice.

The second fact is that you have never been able to substantiate that Fred's site was hacked by atheists, and you have never been able to substantiate that Fred's site was hacked because it was a creationist site. I called your bluf on that one too, but after some more unsupported assertions, you ignored me.

He has a responsibility to his members to give that 'good' reason when he bans them.
No one could possibly be any busier than Dr. Loh, yet should you be banned, there is a line of communication set up to allow you to know why.
The board which I had to run for its owner was small enough to allow me to let our extremely few banned members know why right away, they were bumped up to the owner to enable him to work to solve the problem, I struggled to keep one member for a year while he heaped personal abuse on me, this board was far larger and more active than Fred's, and I was so overworked there that my health was harmed thereby.
No one should be banned for intrinsically inexplicable reason, and only 'raiders" those who join only to spam a board in a personally denigrating, disruptive and inappropriate contentographic manner for their own amusement may safely be banned immediately and without explanation: they're expecting it and already know why it's happened.
