Enouch ( from Genesis ) ...

did -NOT- have The Holy Spirit...

like a -CHRISTIAN- does...
("For The Holy Spirit had -NOT YET BEEN GIVEN." )

John (The Apostle)

had The Holy Spirit (from Pentecost)...

And had Eternal Life (from Christ's sacrifice)...

(David committed murder. Yet "No murderer has eternal-life.")

And...

"Whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is -GREATER THAN JOHN THE BAPTIST."

(My words: At that time, John the baptist had -NOT- the sacrifice of Christ. )

Peace in Christ.

.
I think the difference in my thinking is that I am not considering how much of the Spirit, or God they had. But rather I am looking at how little of themselves they had. And how intimate their comunication was.

(yes I do believe that David has eternal life, ie he did repent.)

I disagree.

David did -NOT have eternal-life.

No one had eternal-life until Jesus gave His sacrifice.

You -CAN'T- have the sacrifice (or The Holy Spirit)...

-UNTIL- it / He is given.

("For The Holy Spirit had -NOT YET- been given")

David might -NOW- have eternal-life (in heaven),

because...

-NOW- Christ -HAS GIVEN- His sacrifice to us.

Peace in Christ.

1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we children of God, and it is not yet made manifest what we shall be. We know that, if he shall be manifested, we shall be like him; for we shall see him even as he is.

Colossians 3:3-4
3 For ye died, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall be manifested, then shall ye also with him be manifested in glory.

Heaven manefesting on the earth, realizing that right now I am seated in heavenly places in Christ. Right now you and I have all that we need, we are made perfect, and we reign in power. We are already healed, delived, and have all of the power and authority we need to succeed. We just have to get out of the way and let Christ manifest His life releasing the gift that is already ours.

Hello all,
Since I am most like David, I find that there is no limitations as to what God can do in me. I find the more I read Scripture, pray, etc. the more I am blessed. It was a hunch of mine for a long time God was going to bless me this year. Now it is confirmed. :) I do honestly believe there is NO limit as to how deep in love with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ you can go.

Peace,
Jess
