Hi bigsierra!

You bet I am! It's turning out to be pretty good! I haven't posted much on the Survivor thread this go around, though. I think my posting the other day was the first one for awhile.

How are things in your neck of the woods?

Well, I will actually start a new job next Monday (May 2). I am working out this week at my old job. I am a little nervous. I guess it's mostly the fear of the unknown. The new job looks pretty promising, so I hope it goes well. How about your job situation? I think the last time I talked to you, you were doing something on your own.

YaY, That sounds good. No break in between?

I'm trying to get my little company going. It's been a roofing and remodeling company, but I'm thinking about narrowing it down to roof repair and cedar preservation, decks and roofs. It's starting to take off, now that the weather is getting better.

Unfortunately, no break in between and I can not take any time off for the first 3 months. Kinda stinks since that will be the majority of my summer. But, I am sure I will survive! :)

Good luck with your business! I am sure the warmer weather will help boost your business too. In my area, the roofers have had more work than they can handle. Last May, we had a huge hail storm, with hail the size of tennis balls. Many roofs have been replaced and many are just now getting their's done, because roofers have been so backed up.

/me sits some fresh baked brownies on the table....

Hey Ya'll!

There's gonna be some massive great food (with of course tons of fellowship, prayer, and worship of God) the end of July in PA at a revival I've been helping out one of my fellow staff members with. You can check the link out in my profile to the revival...or click here... http://www.easton-revival.org

hehe....to give you a bit of a preview of the food....which will make your mouth water..... ;)

What do you do when you get a pastor to buy an old bar with a house attached....and in the bar is a small but very workable commercial kitchen? You get real deep fried chicken...that's what you do! :D

Feel free to check it out and see where I've been spending most of my free time...at my other church. :)

God Bless! :)

And keep making yummy food! :D

*Plops down some of her World Famous Mother's Day Angel Food Cake*

Food looks great all!! Mind if I join the party? I was born into the Nazarene Church and my beliefs have not changed much since then. When I was seven my Dad and stepmother started going to a penecostal church and I went there until I was a teen when I switch back over to Nazarene because I moved in with my grandparents. Since then I've found that my beliefs are much more in line with Weslian thought then Penecostal.

Hello LadyLuck

Welcome to Christian Forums.

---

Your revival looks great, Angel. Fried chicken sounds good too. :yum: The schedule looks very interesting. Thanks for posting the link.

I grew up with campmeetings. They were always outside and always on the hottest days of the year.

*****looks around the empty room, :sigh: and begins to straighten things up*****

Nobody has been in here in a while, so I figured it was time to clean up again.

Since the weather here has been soooooo hot and nasty I've brought along a HUGE pitcher of lemonade and lots of ice, some sugar cookies and fruit and veggie trays to munch on.

***sets food on table, leaves and returns with a bouquet of white roses****

The roses grow in my yard--left behind by the previous owner.
