So basically, it's ok to lie because other people do bad things too?
I have never seen that in the bible, but I've heard it more than once from creationists.
I've also heard that it's ok for Hovind to lie to our children as long as he does it while claiming to bring them closer to Jesus.

I would swear that the bible speaks out against these things, maybe I'm wrong and it says sins are sometimes ok.
It often seems that with all the pushing of the one and only "true" reading of the bible, creationists haven't read beyond genesis.

Your kids will come back with Sponge Bob and Homer Simpson antics and be told how the practice of alternate lifestyles are totally acceptable at school, while the guidance councelor hands out free condoms and takes your pregnate daughter to the abortion clinic without your knowing.

Get a life. There is more stupidity and ignorace on TV and in public education then on this silly and humorous placemat. We presently do NOT know what a T-REX would or would not do. There is enough conjecture on both sides to fill a hole...
Of course there's stupidity on TV. But then again, "Revelations" isnt trying to actually put forth an accurate picture of Christianity :)

I want you to know that I dressed like that for a play I was in called DON'T KICK the TURKEYS. I also had to wear a pink bunny outfit and T-shirt and jeans that appeared to be incinerated...

Heh. I'd like to see Hovind or someone actually try that. He'd be a chicken nugget so fast. The arms alone could probably shred a human's flesh, not to mention the utterly massive jaws with long, serrated teeth, and powerful legs.

Not to mention the obvious size difference:

I think Hovind just got as far as realizing, "Hey, T-Rex has little arms! You cud jus' pull 'em rite off!" He isn't intelligent enough to follow through to, "Oh, T-Rex is pretty large as critters go, so that 'little' arm is actually more massive than an adult human's leg."

Irish, great picture, it shows just how big those tiny arms really are. Isn't it amazing that a man could rip off arms that are the size of half his body? :)

Little, there are no fire shooting beetles. There are exactly zero animals ever found that can naturally produce fire.

Oh, I don't know. If a whole bunch of stingrays got together for a slumber party some night and really decided to put their minds to it, I'll bet they could get up quite a shock -- maybe even enough to start a fire...

EDIT: 'Scuse me, electric eels is what I meant to say. I would just fix it but for some odd reason substituting 'stingrays' make me chuckle.

I think you are confusing correct vs. incorrect with right vs. wrong.

While I realize it is necessary for creationists to insist that all intrepetations should be given equal weight (that is, for the time being), the point you are missing is that there is NO evidence to support the idea that T-rex blew fire out of his mouth. You are confusing pure conjecture with hypothesis based on things called facts.
