My Two Witnesses

Revelation 11:3. And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7. And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Witness #1

John 3:31. He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. 32. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. 33. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

Witness #2

John 15: 26. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

John 16:7. Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9. Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10. Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11. Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. 12. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

These are the "two Anointed" ones or "kristos" seen by Zechariah, Jesus and the Holy Ghost, Father's left and right "hands".

Zechariah 4:2. And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, And behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: 3. And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. 4. So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord? 5. Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 11. Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? 12. And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? 13. And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. 14. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

The bodies of the Two Witnesses are a body (volume) of Words

Witness #1, Jesus

Psalm 40:7. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, 8. I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. 9. I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest. 10. I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. 11. Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

John 1:1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. The same was in the beginning with God. 3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Witness #2, Pravuil (Holy Ghost)

Secrets of Enoch 22:11 And the Lord summoned one of his archangels by name Pravuil, whose knowledge was quicker in wisdom than the other archangels, who wrote all the deeds of the Lord; and the 12 Lord said to Pravuil: 'Bring out the books from my storehouses, and a reed of quick-writing, and give it to Enoch, and deliver to him the choice and comforting books out of thy hand.'

Secrets of Enoch 23:1 And he was telling me all the works of heaven, earth and sea, and all the elements, their passages and goings, and the thunderings of the thunders, the sun and moon, the goings and changes of the stars, the seasons, years, days, and hours, 2, 3 and the formation of their songs, and all human things, the tongue of every human song and life, the commandments, instructions, and sweet-voiced singings, and all things that it is fitting to learn. And Pravuil told me: 'All the things 4 that I have told thee, we have written. Sit and write all the souls of mankind, however many of them are born, and the places prepared for them 5 to eternity; for all souls are prepared to eternity, before the formation of the world.' And all 6 double thirty days and thirty nights, and I wrote out all things exactly, and wrote three hundred and sixty-six books.

Ezekiel 9:2. And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar. 3. And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side; 4. And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

The Two Witnesses are (1) Jesus as the Word made flesh and (2) Pravuil representing the whole volume record as Father's Librarian and Secretary.

After experiencing the "famine of hearing the Word of God" (Amos 8:11-13), Father has sent these two Anointed Ones down to the earth with their testimonies of truth in the form of worded documents. They will testify in the Outer Court (the earth) for approximately 3 and 1/2 years (1260 days). They have power to shut Heaven so that it does not rain because their Words will be all the water the earth will need. If they stop speaking, there is no rain. When they testify the waters flood. Those who attack them shall be destroyed by their fiery Words. They have power to turn water into wine (blood of Jesus). And that wine is the Word of joy concerning man's sure and guaranteed salvation and immortality! Their Words torment the kingdom of devils because of their justification for all human beings no matter what devils have them doing and they damn devils only placing all blame for sin throughout all generations squarely on the heads of the kingdom of darkness. This is the completion of the Atonement process (Leviticus 16:7-22) and it is a great vexation to the kingdom of devils.

Devils will make "war against their Words and shall overcome them and kill them", Revelation 11:7-8. Their Words will remain unread down in this earth, which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt where Jesus was killed. Those to whom the Words were delivered will rejoice exceedingly when the testimonies stop. Their Words (bodies) will not be put in graves for obvious reasons. You cannot bury Words! Devils will be gleeful because they have caused the men they influence and ride (their human slaves) not to read those Words, Isaiah 30:8-12.

Revelation 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

God shall withdraw His Two Witnesses from this earth. What will you do then, when it comes to hearing the Word of the Lord?

Revelation 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Ezekiel 35:2. Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir (kingdom of devils), and prophesy against it, 3. And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate. 4. I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. 5. Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel (all humanity) by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end (completed atonement): 6. Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee. (my lastborn son, Jeremiah 50:43-46) 7. Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth. 8. And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword. 9. I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the Lord. 10. Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there (man's body is God's temple and He dwells in all men): 11. Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee. 12. And thou shalt know that I am the Lord, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume. 13. Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, (Whatever is done or not done to any man is done or not done to God) and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them. 14. Thus saith the Lord God; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

These things are being fulfilled today and men are unaware of it! Amen?! Amen!

Hi Goodnews; I recall reading somewhere that there will be a "thirst" for the word of God, in the last days but it will be not be found. What you have written is interesting. How do you explain the two witnesses in Revelation, who are seen by the whole world as lying dead in the streets of Jerusalem for three days (while the world celebrates) and then rise after 3&1/2 days, casting fear upon all? I have read that they were overcome by the antichrist, during the great tribulation. I would be interested in hearing your point of view on this.
Thanks, Wildfire

Revelation 11:3-4 Here we are introduced to the Two Witnesses (other names for them are also given) and their brief but powerful Earthly ministry is described. They wear the traditional sackcloth of prophets, signifying repentance. The duration of their ministry is 42 lunar months (30 days) clearly explaining that their ministry will cover 1/2 of the 7-year Tribulation period (Daniel 9:27) ... probably the first 1/2:

3 And I will grant authority to my Two Witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty
days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the Two Olive Trees and the Two Lampstands that stand before the Lord of the Earth.

Revelation 11:5 As with all of God's prophets, special protection for the Two Witnesses has been provided. As described here, the supernatural powers of self-defense they have been given are quick and powerful:

5 And if anyone wants to harm them, fire flows out of their mouth and devours their enemies; so if anyone
wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way.

Revelation 11:6 Though their true identity will not be known until their arrival, the Two Witnesses have the same powers demonstrated by Moses and Elijah. Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration representing the summation of the Law and the Prophets, respectively. Moses turned the waters of Egypt into blood and called down multiple plagues. Elijah withheld rain from Israel. After the Church Age of Grace, God will manifest the Law and the Prophets once again. In the Old Testament, the Law and the Prophets spoke mainly to Israel ... Here, they will speak to the entire Earth:

6 These have the power to shut up the sky, so that rain will not fall during the days of their prophesying;
and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the Earth with every plague,
as often as they desire.

Revelation 11:7-8 When their ministry is finished (after 1,260 days) God allows Satan via the First Beast to attack and defeat the Two Witnesses but the story still has surprises to come soon. For now, their deaths are visibly confirmed by their corpses lying in a street of Jerusalem, identified metaphorically in verse 8:

7 When they have finished their testimony, the Beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with
them, and overcome them and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt,
where also their Lord was crucified.

Revelation 11:9-10 It's a dead man's party, who could ask for more? ... for 84 hours, the world is so happy that these Two Witnesses are dead that they won't allow them to be buried! Rather, the world throws a celebration of their deaths and exchanges presents with each other. Viewing their bodies is a focal point of the party:

9 Those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and
a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.
10 And those who dwell on the Earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one
another, because these Two Prophets tormented those who dwell on the Earth.

Revelation 11:11-12 One nagging thing about a party ... there's always a party spoiler! ... This time it's God ... as part of His surprise, He decides to bring the Two Witnesses back from the dead (probably the ultimate party trick!) right in front of the world ... and it's just when the party had really got going! This really kills the spirit (unearthly that is!) of the party and scares all of the partygoers to death (God did the same thing to the Chaldean King Belshazzar in Chapter 5 of the Book of Daniel) ... For more party fun, God then Raptures the Two Witnesses directly into Heaven, right in front of everyone:

11 But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their
feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them.
12 And they heard a loud voice from Heaven saying to them, "Come up here", Then they went up into
Heaven in the cloud, and their enemies watched them.

Revelation 11:13 God has a little surprise party of His own ... to break up the world's party, He sends a big earthquake upon the city of Jerusalem ... 10% of the city is destroyed ... 7,000 people are killed ... but surprise! ... the remaining partygoers decide to worship God!:

13 And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; seven thousand people
were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of Heaven.

thanks Kristen, you gave an accurate description of what is yet to come. <when when> Do you agree with goodnews that the comforter is the <word of God> /the bible? (correct me if I am wrong goodnews, is that what you meant?)
Because Jesus said, it is <expedient> that I go away, so that the comforter can come to you. It would make sense, because we are told that once the gospel is preached among all nations, then the end would come.
Wondering,
Wildfire

>>Ezekiel 9:2 he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side; 4. And the Lord said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

I love that passage, it tells us without a doubt who is and who is not marked as belonging to Jesus. Those who laugh along with the world, will perish with the world. But if we sigh and cry over the abominations we see in the world, then we will live forever with Jesus.

The city the passage is actually talking about is Jerusalem, and esp. the temple. This passage could very well apply to the church today. To seperate the dead, harlot, apostate church from the true Bride of Christ.

I believe we are a called out people from a called out people, those of us who are actually baptised in the Holy Spirit and have the power of God in our lives, not just a form of godlyness. We are first called to seperate ourselves from the world. Then we are called to seperate ourselves from the abominations that have crept their way into the church.

When Jesus comes for His bride there are 10 virgins. They are all pure and chase, they all are "christians". They all 10 are looking for Jesus to come for them. But only five have oil for their lamp. Only five have the Holy Spirit and are able to be a light to the world. Thanks, JohnR7

Hello, Wildfire!

We do address those very questions in the post. The text states that their dead bodies will remain in the streets of spiritual Sodom and Egypt, an analogy for "this earth" for 3 and 1/2 days. Their bodies are their unread testimonie, a "body of words". "Calling them up to Heaven" is to withdraw their words so that the earth can nolonger have their testimony. Jesus is the "Word made flesh" and he cannot be rekilled in the way the human mind understands "to kill". Pravuil represents the entire volume record God left as a legacy. If he stops explaining what the scriptures mean, men will revert to the darkness of human misinterpretation of the Word. The kingdom of darkness (we wrestle not with flesh and blood)will rejoice because men ignore the testimony in the end time of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Since this is spiritual warfare, human beings may be totally unaware that these things are happening.

Hi, Wildfire!

The "other Comforter" is the left hand of God. In the Zechariah text he is very much a living being, Jesus' twin from the other side of the Throne. If you put your two hands together, you see that they look alike except one is the right hand and the other is the left hand. Zechariah saw them as two "oil men" who pour spiritual oil on men below. What is "oil" you ask? Here it is as defined by the Word: Psalms 141:5 and 133:1-3. You will have to look up those definitions for oil. David said "Father's rod and staff Comfort me" in Psalm 23. We define what the code term "rod" means in the original post as well as the "writer's staff". If you want to know who they are YOU MUST use the key given in the Revelation text in verse 4. This is CLEARLY a reference to the vision of Zechariah in chapter four. Now we have given you "who" they are. I have no dominion over your faith or any man's faith. You can and will believe what you want. this post is for those to whom Father is chosen to receive and understand it. Thank you for considering it.

Hi, JohnR7!

Consider that "your body is the temple of God" (1 Corinthians 6:19) and men are the "lively stones", the very building blocks that make up the City of Jerusalem in this earth. In that light every man in every nation makes up "that City" in the earth and it encompasses ALL NATIONS. (See Psalms 87 and 82:6-8). As fast as men are born "that City" descends from Heaven clothed in white (all infants are born righteous having done no evil, Rev 19:8).

Now JohnR7 because I see you are "thinking", let us link to this another vision in Acts 10:9-16,28 (Psalm 49:20) and let us place this next to Isaiah 11:1-5. Mix in a little of Acts 17:24-28. Now you are becoming a cook, JohnR7. What kind of real "meat" stew do you get out of these texts as they boil around in your mental pot?

I do not know what you mean by "preterist". I am not familiar with that word. But the texts speak for themselves. Hopefully you will get some positive info from it. Thanks for reading the post.
------------------------------------------------
GoodNews,

Preterism is the belief that every prophecy in the Bible has already been fulfilled or is being fulfilled today.

So preterists believe things like the rapture has already occurred, that Jesus is already ruling with an iron sceptre here on earth, that we are in the millennial kingdom, that we are living in the new earth and heavens etc.

There are some preterists and preterist threads in the eschatology section.

God bless

Hi!

I was referring to Revelation 11:4. It refers to Zechariah 4 concerning the two Anointed Ones. God is making a seek and find game out of this. He supplies to more keys in Psalm 23, the rod and staff are two comforters. Then you have to tie in Jesus as the the branch and rod of Jesse and the Holy Ghost as the (writer's) staff. You know Father has fun teaching us things. It is like finding hidden clues that lead to buried treasure. You know He does have a sense of humor! Look at this:

KJV Pro 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

Do you want to be a "king"? Then search for the hidden word-keys!
