THeologians

Are there any hard core debators out there? I am looking for a fellow Jesus Freak who loves arguing about doctrine. It is my favorite thing. If you would be interested in online debates it would help if we could AIM (AOL INstant Messanger). My e-mail drrmjordan23@msn.com. If you don't have AIM, e-mail me, and I can get it to you for free. If you do have AIM, get it to me. Mine is WWJD777.

We can start with Titus 3:9 and harmonize it with 2 Tim 2:32. :)

If you have a real issue you want to discuss, I'm up for teaching you as well as learning what you may have to say about issues. I don't debate or argue. I believe the truth is not relative, but is in fact findable and understandable.

Ask away. :)

I don't want to sound rude but, I was hoping for something a little more challenging. Also, I find your original reply insulting. I can come to conclusions, but I like to have them debated. I like when someone asks me a good question that makes me think. To be frank, I didn't post "THeologian" to get assignments. I wanted to be on an equal level. One thing that interests me is that you would treat me like your junior without knowing my age. Now I really don't wish to offend you, but I just needed someone to debate with. If you find something, or vis versa, we could discuss it. If you can't do that, then lets forget this.

I was addressing that very issue, sorry I wasn't more clear: the word "arguing" does sound like a fruitless debate and therefore that is why I posted those scriptures for you to eventually come to the point of my reply.

But I think Louis nailed it on the head with a simple comment. I just wanted to also give this point to you in a way that you said you were looking for: a challenge to figure out a point. :)

My in simple terms: I don't argue because fruitless debates are unscripturally sound. If you have an issue you want to discuss, let me know and I'd be happy to - provided we don't argue. :)

and notice the smileys too in a conversation - they help communicate the emotion that goes with a post. I meant nothing to disrespect you, nor do I look at you nor anyone else for that matter as my 'junior' - for we are all one and the same in Christ, and in the same boat regarding our relationship need for God and our need for salvation.

We have two forums for several kinds of debates: one is the Workshop for discussion between Christians, and the Round Tables for discussion between Christians and nonbelievers.
