So, today, I wake up at 10:30 and think, oh shoot I missed my first class and missed the test! I need to get up and get ready for my 12:00 class. So I finish getting ready at 10:50 and run...literally, to my 2nd class. I run down the hall and into the classroom just as the bell tower chimes are ringing. I notice people who aren't usually in the class, but I figure they missed their test time and they are just in my class to take it. As I rush to sit down at my seat I see no one that I recognize, I look at the teacher and it isn't my teacher! I look at the clock and it is 11:00. I look at the teacher, say sorry and run across the way to my actual 11:00 class that I thought I had already missed. So, I totally embarassed myself as everyone was staring at me in the other class. I sit down in the class I am actually supposed to be in, and our teacher decides no test today, he will just give us all A's! So that was good, but I was totally embarassed...now I just laugh at it. :o

That would be totally embarassing. I would have probably turned red in the class. I've done something like that before, too, though. It's really cool that you guys all got A's. I'd like to sign up for that class!! lol

Oh, and do those bells bug you as much as they do me??

Heh, I had a slightly similar experience for my first day of college... except that I stayed in the class. I was suppose to be in an English class, but I was actually in an Anthropology class. My English class was after that. They were in the same room and I didn't know what time it was, so I went in there and took my seat. Oops :p

When I was a freshman in college I didn't wake up to my alarm on the day of my Calculus 1 final. It started at 8:00AM and I woke up at 9:30AM. Luckily we had 3 hours to complete the test so I bolted down there and finished in time. But boy was I a wreck that morning.

There was one day and I was supposed to write an exam at 9am but when I played with my clock to set the alarm off, I changed the time on my clock to an hour ahead and I did not know. I went to the school and no one was around, normally the library opens at 8:30 and same with the office, no one was there. (It was really 7:30) I thought school was cancelled because of the weather and almost went back to bed, I went on the computer and asked some people what the time was and they told me...

I've went to the RIGHT classroom at the RIGHT time on the WRONG day. oh well.
I did that too! Luckily, it was before the class started and I noticed none of the people in the room were in my class so I made it to my other class.
I overslept this week and because of the time change and woke up 15 minutes after I should have left for school. It was in one of those rooms where the doors are at the front of the room instead of the back! I hate those rooms! It's distracting when other people are late and annoying when you're late!
I also woke up late for my chemistry final but made it just as the teacher was handing out the tests. I was a wreck for the whole test though. Luckily I passed!

Wow, I've never had a teacher not give a test though! You're lucky! Most of my teachers would have been like "too bad you missed the test! Nobody died and you weren't sick or in an accident. oh well!"

I've done all of the above before. I went to the right class at the right time on the wrong day. Monday had been a holiday, so it was tuesday, but I still thought it was monday. I missed all of my classes that day, it took me so long to get straightened out. I even when to my counselor, and she looked at me like ??? . Then one time I was 30 minutes late to a 50 minute class where we were taking a test because I over slept and my alarm didn't go off. I was so embarassed walking in front of like a 100 people trying to convince my teacher to let me take the test anyway.

Ah all these stories sound SO familiar. The door to the science theatre where I have biology is at the side and because the tables go right upto the low podium you have to walk across it if you sit on the far side, guess where I usually sit?! I was late because I'd been feeling ill, not only did I have to walk in front of the screen in the way of the projector but because i looked at the light (stupid i know!) i made myself feel even sicker and then had to run out again.

Heh, during class I was paying attention (honest I was :holy: ), then my eyes started to stare at the board and not the teacher. Next minute the lecturer shouted my name. I was asked to answer a question, which I was erm... not paying attention to (Ooo! - the awkward silence, when the class turn towards you). Not my fault, the lecture was so boring, I had to look away.

Most embarrassing

I don't think i'm as absent-minded as i can read you are ! keep telling your stories that's so fun :D !
I regularly sleep during classes -i know that's bad, but i can't help. Once in the lecture hall the teacher awoke me by calling my name (or about, he didn't know it well~) and making comments about people getting bored (or sth like that)... and everyone looked at me as i as completely drowsy. I couldn't even realize what was happenning, but i was embarrassed.
