When we believe in Christ, we are believing in The Truth. That's what scripture says.

Salvation is from hell, God's Wrath on those that do not believe in Him. That too is evident in scripture. For salvation comes to us, that we are saved from our enemies. And any who is against the Lord is His enemy. So indeed, before we were saved, we were the Lord's enemy. Is it not ironic that we are taught to love our enemy?

1. When we receive salvation, what are we saved from?

A. Sin, Death, Satanic domination, and the wrath of God.

2. When we believe in Christ, what exactly are we believing?

A. That Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, that He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, that He and the Father are one. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. We believe that in God’s timing He was born of the Virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit and became flesh and dwelt among us. We believe that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. That He will come again in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom.

1. When we receive salvation, what are we saved from?

We are saved from eternal separation from God. And we are saved from living a life of slavery to sin. We receive freedom in Christ to obey Him and thus please him and give Him glory--a satisfying way to live, if you ask me:) .

2. When we believe in Christ, what exactly are we believing?

We believe in His physical existence. We also believe the things He said are truth. We believe death on the cross was for atonement of our personal sins. We believe that He did rise bodily from the dead. Jesus is God in human flesh and that he will reign forever as King of kings.

So what would your answers be to those 2 questions?

And welcome to the KT. Hope to see you around!:)
